Hello! I'm Lulu, a bilingual English teacher with six years of experience. I teach English using a flexible methodology so that the language can be learned, or improved, naturally. My goal as a teacher is for students to learn to master the language in an authentic way. -I don't do exam preparation.- Classes revolve around interactive activities and spontaneous, in-depth conversations (to the extent each student allows). Communicating across languages is key to cognitive development and goes far beyond memorizing words: it's an opportunity to discover our own identity from a different perspective. To begin, I always do a couple of tests that help me profile the student from various areas, not just the level, and with that, I work with the individual to develop the class strategy, from frequency to method. I have worked with students of all ages, with diverse learning styles and unique needs, and while they often fit within certain parameters that correspond to pre-established teaching methodologies, each one is unique and deserves a personalized approach that respects their own pace. After my first lesson with Benson, i have felt more confidence in my skills with chemistry than i have in many years. Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed.
