I have also written, edited or proofread a variety of academic papers, theses, applications, CVs, and other documents for numerous satisfied academic and professional clients. I have spent my entire childhood and adult life in the United States before completing a master's degree in Political Science and European Politics at KU Leuven. Additionally, I also possess Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and History. I have an extensive knowledge and experience of English grammar and literature, as well as current and past working experience in journalism (Anti-Competition Law and European Policy at the Policy and Regulatory Report) and both European and American politics. English Course for Children: "Yes, I Do!" Objective: To learn English in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging active participation, interactive learning and the use of creativity, through activities such as drawings, songs and games. Recommended age: 6-10 years Duration: 8 weeks (with 2 weekly classes of 60 minutes) --- Course structure: Module 1: Introduction to English and Greetings Class 1: Hello! / Greetings! Activities: Song: "Hello, Hello, How Are You?" (song to say hello and ask how you are). Dynamic: The children present a drawing of themselves. Game: "Simon Says" in English using simple sentences. Space to draw: Children draw how they feel (happy, sad, etc.). Class 2: Colors and Numbers Activities: Song: "Colors song" (Song to learn colors). Game: "Color Bingo" with cards that children must color. Space to draw: Children draw something with the colors they learned. Module 2: Family and Friends Class 3: My Family Activities: Song: "Family Song" (Song about family members). Game: "Guess who I am" (describe a family member with simple clues). Space to draw: Children draw their family. Class 4: Friends and What's your name? Activities: Song: "What's your name?" (Song to learn how to introduce yourself). Game: "Pass the ball" (the child with the ball must say his name and one of his friends). Drawing space: Children draw their best friend. Module 3: Animals and Sounds Class 5: Zoo Animals Activities: Song: "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" (to learn animal sounds). Game: "Animal charades" (animal mime). Space to draw: Children draw their favorite animals. Class 6: On the Farm Activities: Song: "The Animals on the Farm" Game: "Who makes what sound?" (children guess which animal makes what sound). Drawing space: Children draw a scene on the farm. Module 4: Food and Drink Class 7: Food Activities: Song: "I like to eat, eat, eat" (song about food). With a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language, Yimer is obviously very qualified but he also has a gift of teaching that is very effective in making progress on the learning journey. Part of this has to be in his patience and being a teacher that has a way of explaining things, both in English and Spanish, that make learning easier. I have had quite a few Spanish tutors over the years but Yimer, is clearly the best.

Sandra is an excellent teacher - she's extremely knowledgeable of spanish grammar and vocabulary, and is very good at explaining difficult concepts in a simple way. She clearly put a lot of effort into every lesson, which resulted in me improving quite a lot in just a few lessons. Best of all she's a great person who is fun to talk with. Every class was truly enjoyable.
