I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners and I have taught hundreds of students from all ages and professions for more than 20 years. I am a professional English teacher but I like teaching Turkish more as it is my mother tongue and it is a great pleasure for me to share its secrets and beauty. While teaching I also love giving some useful information about the culture, people, cuisine, films and literature in Turkey to help you get connected to Turkish culture. I prepare written and verbal dialogues in the areas the student is interested in. I am from Istanbul but I traveled almost all cities, mountains, rivers, lakes in Turkey. But we always focus on TALK, TALK, TALK. As a language learner for many years, I know one can learn, improve and take pleasure in a foreign language only by talking and communicating. We’ve had two in-person sessions with Hatice so far and they have been excellent. Her classes are engaging and accessible to students of different levels. In a class, she is very skilled at offering depth for someone who has some turkish understanding as well as being accessible to a beginner. I hope to continue a mix of online and in person lessons with her!

Shyam
My daughter whose mother tongue is not Tamil is taking Tamil lessons with Shyam. Shyam is a very good teacher and uses very good teaching materials to teach her. She very much enjoys the lessons and we find that she is quickly picking up the language and we look forward to further lessons with Shyam. We are very happy to have him as her Tamil teacher.
