The desired result of the workshop is that the participants make a connection between emotions and movement. 2. Dance classes for seniors The first part of the lesson is warming up on the chair. Inspiration drawn from gyrokinesis, a form of movement that increases spinal mobility. In combination with Pilates-based exercises for muscle activation, we prepare the body with an approach that is suitable for everyone. In the second part, the exercises continue standing with a body scan. The exercises explore every part of the body using weight, dynamics and movement qualities. The end result is the involvement of the whole body playing with rhythms and patterns in space.
