Al meer dan 30 jaar geef ik met passie individuele en groepslessen aan mensen van alle niveaus. Ik ben Gianni, een geboren en getogen Florentijn die al geruime tijd in Delft woont. Florence, de bakermat van de Italiaanse taal, is ook de stad van Dante Alighieri, de grondlegger van het moderne Italiaans. Nee, we zijn geen familie 😉, maar net zoals Haarlem in Nederland bekend staat om zijn ABN-uitspraak, wordt het Italiaans uit Florence beschouwd als de standaardtaal. Dit authentieke Italiaans draag ik met trots over in mijn lessen. Professionele ervaring Momenteel ben ik docent Italiaans bij de Volksuniversiteit Delft, na eerder vier jaar les te hebben gegeven bij de Volksuniversiteit Rotterdam. Naast mijn werk als docent ben ik ook professioneel zanger van traditionele Italiaanse volksliederen. Deze passie integreer ik graag in mijn lessen, omdat muziek een krachtige tool is om een taal te leren. Bekende teksten en melodieën maken het leerproces niet alleen leuker, maar ook effectiever. Vaak begeleid ik mijn zang met gitaar, wat zorgt voor een authentieke Italiaanse sfeer. The lesson and learning materials provided is very well structured and paced. Mrs Rattana caters to each student’s learning style. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised how much I learned in my first lesson with Mrs Rattana (1-hour conversational + 1 hour for reading writing) that I couldn’t believe it was just the first meeting with her! I find myself grasping the Thai language so much more than I could ever learn by myself despite the wealth of online resources. Very glad I made the decision to learn Thai with Mrs Rattana guidance :) At the time of writing, I have completed by 3rd class and more to go. My goal is to reach and master the basics. I highly and truly recommend Mrs Rattana class to anyone who wishes to learn Thai competently, at a pace that stretches you a little but not too out of reach. Despite the challenge in learning a new language, rest assured that you’ll be well guided.

Anna is an amazing teacher, understanding very well the student needs and adapting her method to it but also to progress made. Personally, I felt I improved very fast and saw my progress daily which was a big surprise. All of this without feeling I had to make too much efforts, it was all very smooth and natural. I can only recommend her to whoever wants to learn Japanese from scratch.
