Graduated with a master's degree from the Milan Conservatory, an artist certificate from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and winner of international competitions, I teach harpsichord, piano and music theory in Paris. I accompany beginners or experts to build a solid foundation or deepen their technique, expression and musical culture. I believe that teaching music theory should never be detached from the music played, and I pursue a teaching method linking the two.

I have composed music for multiple bands, played for choirs, and accompanied many influential artists. I cleared the Grade 8 examination from Trinity College of Music, London in piano performance. I offer classes both at the student's location and my own. My curriculum blends aural training, sight reading, performance, and composition (tailored to each student's proficiency level).

Hello, welcome to my ad! My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. Over the years, I have been able to accompany around forty students, both in private lessons, group lessons and at the conservatory where I teach today. OPTION1) The course I offer is aimed at beginner to intermediate level guitarists, of all ages (children too!), in acoustic and electric guitar. My goal is to give you the essential basics of the instrument (body position, technique, chords) as well as an understanding of fundamental musical concepts (rhythm, ear, reading tablature and/or music theory) which will be very useful to you as a musician. We will base our learning as quickly as possible on real pieces of music, if possible suggested by the student because I think that learning by playing the music you like is the most motivating method. As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities. Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun. OPTION 2) This course is for intermediate to advanced guitarists (and musicians in general) who want to acquire a deeper understanding of music theory. What we can cover, depending on your needs: analysis, harmony, composition, transcription, improvisation, music theory, ... Lessons can take place at my home, in the 15th arrondissement, or at the student's home where I can travel (for an extra) within a reasonable radius. Declared via CESU (Universal Employment Service Check) or self-employed invoice.

The most important thing for me is that the student enjoys playing. That's why he is free to learn the pieces he wants as long as they are accessible to his level. The student progresses much more quickly when he plays pieces that he likes, and that's what I prioritize above all: the pleasure of playing and learning. Of course, I will also suggest pieces adapted to his progress. The lessons may be supplemented by a little music theory, especially for beginners (during the lesson time), Analysis or Writing. These disciplines nourish the student's culture and will improve their creativity and interpretations of pieces. The courses can be given in French, but also in English or Italian if you wish. Songwriting is a powerful tool for creation. Many great songs have changed the world. Through working with me you will learn how to break down songs and write your own. You will learn how to use your voice properly ( voice work, scales, breathe ) and write handcrafted songs. We can also use this as a tool to learn English through song. We will sing and learn english songs together and if you are a instrumentalist we will also learn to play them on guitar

Born Passionate, it is through the song that I started my first Musical experiences.
