Music is an art and a discipline that has accompanied me throughout my life, which is why for 7 years I have been giving private lessons or in small groups to be able to teach my students everything I have learned. My classes are aimed at beginners, intermediate and advanced, from children to adults, whatever their age. Maybe 30 min, 45 min or 1 full hour. Thank you and see you soon!

My teaching method follows the same tone as the courses in the conservatory. I adapt according to the styles of each student. I can teach a 10-year-old child as well as a 60-year-old adult (Music has no age.) I teach at my home (Hospitals Faculties) or at your home depending on everyone's availability. The learning will be complete with study on musical training, on the instrument and on help with musical composition if necessary and at the request of the student.

Music lessons: Introduction to violin, ukulele and music theory for all levels. Play any style. All songs are valid. We adapt them! You can choose 1 class per week, 2 per week or 1 every 15 days. I work with personalized programs, according to the tastes and requirements of each student. Theoretical and practical methods. - Musical initiation: first steps. -Exploration of the instrument as a support for creation - Exercises with didactic works, aimed at defining and improving the technique of your playing of the instrument. - Preparation for admission to conservatories, exams, concerts and auditions.

For beginners who want to play the classic, we will start with the basics of music theory and reading notes. The music theory will be integrated into the practice of the piano and not separated from it. For the more advanced, in-depth work on dynamics and interpretation may be interesting. For non-classics, eager to improvise any music or to be able to reproduce the accompaniment of a beloved song, we will study harmony (always by tapping the keys, rest assured :)). Understanding between tonal and harmonic relationships is the key to improvisation. However, I remain very open to your wishes and needs and I can easily adapt my teaching according to what is requested.

My name is Torjus and I want to teach your children or yourself piano and saxophone. I am a generalist, more than a specialist, so that way I can teach basics in many areas. We can do techniques, practicing techniques, music theory, ear training, sight reading, playing together. I do mostly classical and rhytmical music and also a little jazz. The lessons are adapted to your skill level, and we will also talk about how you can help yourself get better. I have only taught kids and youths, but adults are also welcome. Kids up to 10 years: 30 minutes. Youths 10-15 years old: up to 45 minutes. Adolescents/adults 16 and up: from 30 to 60 minutes. I speak English well, but I can also use French to teach basics, as I am currently learning French on level A2.
