This creative drawing course uses still life or abstract elements as a visual prompt through which participants can unlock their own creativity and learn to think like an artist. Over the course of the week will focus on technique and materials in a practical, hands-on class- combining traditional Life Drawing practices with experimental drawing ideas and mediums.

La détrempe à l'œuf est l'une des plus anciennes techniques de peinture d'art historique. Il s'est conservé comme technique principale pour peindre des icônes religieuses orthodoxes. Il est possible de l'apprendre et de peindre votre propre icône. J'ai 9 ans de pratique pour enseigner aux gens comment le faire. Nous travaillons ensemble étape par étape pour comprendre la technique, la façon de préparer un panneau de bois pour peindre une icône et les techniques de réalisation d'un bon projet pour que l'icône s'adapte au tableau. Nous apprenons également à faire une couche de feuilles d'or sur les plumes. Votre icône sera une véritable icône artisanale.

Sometimes it seems like unforeseen forces are holding you back from doing the things you dream of, maybe you've been feeling blocked, lethargic, listless or struggling with direction. In this tailor-made Portfolio-preparation course, your child will build his/her own body of work, from research, idea development, and thinking processes, to the final piece of art which helps to prepare for interviews, university admission, or competitions. In the course, it is full of flexibility and creative processes, your child will develop his/her interpretation of chosen themes and unique personal styles.

Je suis un artiste plasticien né à Barcelone, installé en Belgique depuis 2017. En tant qu'artiste, j'ai accumulé de l'expérience au cours des 25 dernières années. Je suis diplômé d'un Bachelor Académique en Beaux-Arts à l'Université de Barcelone et diplômé d'un Master en Arts Visuels à la Sint Lucas School of Arts à Anvers. Je suis spécialisé dans la peinture, le dessin, les films expérimentaux, les installations, le langage, le son et le commissariat. En d'autres termes, je suis un artiste multidisciplinaire. Je comprends la pratique artistique comme un moyen de se comprendre et les situations qui nous entourent. Dans mes cours, je n'enseigne pas comment faire de l'art, mais comment dire quelque chose à travers votre travail artistique. Avec moi, vous pouvez travailler de manière autonome, avec un coach qui vous mettra au défi avec certaines missions et vous donnera des commentaires sur vos préoccupations personnelles. De plus, vous apprendrez à travailler avec plusieurs médiums, à préparer votre propre matériel: peintures, toiles, etc. Vous bénéficierez non seulement d'un accompagnement individuel mais vous encouragerez à chercher d'autres artistes ou à prendre en compte d'autres références liées à vos préoccupations. Trouver, discuter et reprendre des solutions ensemble sont au cœur de mes cours.

I have been involved in art for twenty years. I started out painting and selling both oils and watercolours. This developed to become, for a while, the main source of our household income. I managed to have solo exhibitions in Devon and Kent in the UK, as well as USA, Japan and, when I lived in France, several there too. When I returned from France, I started my academic studies in Fine Art Sheffield Hallam and Leeds Arts University where I receive a BA and MA in fine art. I have great interest in the theory of fine art, such as composition, perspective, colour theory; the technology of fine art in understanding materials used and techniques applied. The theories of doing that allow successful expression. As well as purely fine art theory, this allows me to bring in psychology and other scientific thought, not to usurp fine are theory, but to bolster it both to confirm existing theories as well as opening out possible avenues for discovering new ones. In painting I see myself as impressionist but recently have moved more towards realism to better communicate with internet viewer. This is because, when a piece is photographed, people cannot see complexity of the brush strokes used. I like to paint genre where complicated compositions and intellectual work is involved but I also do portraits, still life and landscape. In sculpture I use mostly archaic composition, as exemplified by Henry Moore and Aristide Maillol. I really enjoy sharing my love of art with other. I believe everybody can express themselves through art (and probably should) and I love being a catalyst to make that happen. I do not use restrictive instruction where I tell students what they must do, but help them develop themselves - help them to discover their own way while sharing helpful insights from my own practice and wide knowledge of fine art practice and theory.

Mon expérience professionnelle s'étend à l'international où j'ai eu l'opportunité de travailler aux côtés de diverses entreprises de renom et d'organiser des stages en France, Islande, Suède, Mexique, République Tchèque, Espagne, Turquie et Asie. Aussi, j'ai eu l'occasion de danser pour des maisons de haute couture lors de la Fashion Week de Paris. J'enseigne la danse contemporaine, le travail technique au sol (work work au sol), la danse contact et la danse classique. Mes cours sont axés sur la pleine conscience, la musicalité, l'harmonisation des flux énergétiques, l'improvisation, le renforcement musculaire et le coaching en composition chorégraphique pour les concours, examens, galas et mariages.
