Private lessons in maths; physics-chemistry; English and French.I offer private lessons at home or online for various subjects.
My French lessons are intended for both beginners and intermediates in the language as well as middle and high school students for support in grammar and literature. French being my mother tongue and having studied in the French system, I am comfortable in several areas and therefore offer quality support.
My English classes are intended for both beginners and intermediates in the language (adults or students). I learned English as a second language and therefore I know several tips for approaching learning whether from an academic or conversational point of view.
My mathematics and physics-chemistry courses are intended for students in 13th (Second) or below. I am in the first year of physics at EPFL and therefore have a solid foundation to help my students progress in science. In addition, I have experience in tutoring young students and I am ready to adapt to the needs to develop a taste for and understanding of concepts. (Available in French and English)

Scientist working on cutting-edge AI. Prev: researcher at EPFL, PhD in Mathematical Physics. Experience with IB and Cambridge STEP prep.Hi! I am currently an AI Scientist at a US-based company working on cutting-edge AI applied to molecular biology. This is the topic that won the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry (shared by D. Baker, J. Jumper, D. Hassabis).
Previously, I was a post-doctoral researcher in computational biophysics, machine learning and computational biology at EPFL. I maintain two Python libraries for Topological Data Analysis and pyflagser.
I have previously been a post-doctoral researcher in Mathematical Physics at the University of Bern, where my research was concerned with the interplay between quantum mechanics and Einstein’s theory of general relativity.
I have been teaching at various levels since I was a PhD student at the University of York (UK), and more recently I was part of the cutting-edge educational project Isaac Physics in Physics/Maths/Chemistry at the University of Cambridge.
Here is my teaching experience so far:
- As a PhD student, I taught seminars in several of the undergraduate modules taught by the Department of Mathematics. In total, I have around 500 contact hours of experience in seminar teaching and marking, all of which I have found to be very rewarding.
- As a PhD student, I jointly ran a course for talented high school student wishing to be admitted at high-rank universities, and in particular wishing to pass interviews and the STEP admission paper for entry at Cambridge.
- As part of the Isaac Physics project, I created or helped create some of the online content such as theory pages, problems and books. In particular I helped put together a book on GCSE physics and one on A-level chemistry. Again as part of Isaac Physics, I gave seminars to a variety of high school students and interacted with local teachers to communicate the Isaac Physics philosophy and methodology. I also have some experience giving online YouTube webinars.
- Throughout, I have been offering one-to-one tuition to A-level/IB students, university students and adult casual learners.
I am happy to travel within about 4-5km of my postcode 1008 in Prilly. Alternatively, I can offer webcam lessons.

support course in maths, physics and chemistry in LausanneStudent at the end of a master's degree in chemical and biotechnological engineering at EPFL, I aim to convey my interest in science.
My goal is to support the student so that he understands his course and is able to do exercises confidently and independently.
First, a quick 'inventory' allows learning to be targeted.
First, the theory is ironed out. The exercises are then approached in a methodical way. Finally, I am a fanatic of the cards to synthesize the important notions!
I am also familiar with the English speaking system (IGCSE)
I remain at your disposal for any questions

Master's student at EPFL gives tutoring in Maths, Physics and French in his free timeHello,
I am a young master's student in electrical engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. I am passionate about both my chosen field (electrical engineering) and teaching. This is why I offer, during my free time, my services as a tutor in mathematics, physics and French for all levels (up to the last year of high school).
With more than 5 years of experience in educational support, I am familiar with the challenges that students may face and I adapt my teaching methods according to the specific needs of each. I would be delighted to use my skills in these subjects, as well as my interpersonal and organizational skills, my motivation and my rigor, in order to contribute to the academic success of my students.
Thank you for your kind attention.
Best regards
Omar
Student at EPFL, I give private lessons in math, physics and chemistryI do personalized lessons according to the student by trying to understand the reason for the difficulties encountered, by developing his faculties and by improving the relationship of the student to the subject taught. I can insist on the understanding of the material and review elements of theories and ensure that the important concepts are understood or embark on the exercises which make it possible to apply various methods of resolution and identify the usual pitfalls or so on the success of an examination according to the situation.

I offer math lessons suitable for all grade levels.
I am 32 years old, I come from Italy, and my university education includes a bachelor's, a master's and a doctorate in mathematics (the last at EPFL). I am in the process of following a training course in pedagogy at the HEP in Lausanne to be able to teach in gymnasiums. I have experience with one-to-one private lessons for high school students, and I also spent five years as an assistant at EPFL for different bachelor and master courses.
I am deeply convinced that mathematics can be accessible to everyone, if approached with the right approach. I look forward to helping you on your educational journey!
See you soon,

Biology course - Gymnasium and Bachelor - Sciences / Mathematics / French - 9 to 11th HarmoSHolder of a Master in Neuroscience from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva and wishing to direct myself towards teaching, I give Biology courses for students at the Gymnasium or in Bachelor.
9 years ago, I started to give tutoring lessons in Mathematics, Sciences and French for the youngest, which allowed me to improve my pedagogy and to better adapt to each student. . I have always had fun teaching and this is what, in part, led me to take the path of teaching. This is also why I still offer my help in these same branches for students from 9 to 11th HarmoS.
On the other hand, my years of studies at the Gymnasium in Biology-Chemistry option and my Bachelor of Biology allowed me to have very good knowledge of the subjects taught in Lausanne.
I am attentive and attentive, the idea being to find the best possible method of understanding and learning for everyone!
Whether for regular or one-off courses, do not hesitate to contact me!
