I was born in Geneva in 1969 My learning of music began at the age of 5: So, from 1974, I studied Harmonic Solfeggio, Rhythmic Solfeggio, Drum, Classical Percussion, Jazz Drums, at the music school “Les Cadets de Genève” First prize for Tambour in 1979 Diploma of the Geneva Cadets in 1981 I have been teaching independently for over 30 years The school has existed since 1992 and is based in Lancy (GE) Since March 2023, an antenna has opened in Gland (VD) Classes are weekly and individual. Classes last 30-45-60 minutes No classes during school holidays English spoken

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.
