I am a first year master's student at EPFL, in biology. I offer support courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. The course offers a possibility of help for students having difficulties in the courses offered. The student will find a framework where they can ask these questions, discuss methodologies and improve. Putting my knowledge at the service of other people is something I like to share. Dear Parents, You have come here seeking help for your child, and you have made the right decision. Public schools play a crucial role in our education, but sometimes they lack the necessary resources to cater to each student individually. I, too, experienced a challenging academic journey for this very reason. My struggles were not greater than those of others, but the rigid schedule limited my ability to fully flourish. I am now a chemist who holds a degree from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), and on April 11, 2019, I successfully defended a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). However, all this knowledge is only valuable if it can be effectively communicated. As you know, communication is an essential aspect of teaching. There are teachers who can be uninteresting, and then there are others whose passion is contagious. I have often observed that teachers who manage to ignite their students' interest take the time to provide context for what they teach. Salvation! My name is André and I have just finished my Doctorate in Physics at EPFL. I offer support courses in Mathematics and Sciences for primary school students. My methods are characterized by personalized support for each student, while considering their objectives. I help students in difficulty to succeed in their learning, but also those who want to reach a level of excellence and perhaps go a little beyond the school programs. Master student at EPFL, I would be happy to help you (you or your child) for the subjects where you have difficulties! At university, I have been an assistant in Chemistry for the first years of EPFL for a few years as well as for a course linking mathematics and electronics, called Signals and Systems. So I am used to teaching and explaining concepts to students with difficulties. I also give private lessons to students passing the Swiss maturity or the French baccalaureate. To try to see together the difficulties as well as the misunderstandings: we go back to the lesson together, we do an exercise together and then I let the student do it independently and we review together if he is blocked or if we need to correct. I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including one for Analysis I, EPFL). I am also an assistant for two courses at EPFL (3rd year Bachelor and Master levels), and I co-created and taught the EPFL Advanced Analysis course during the welcome week for new students (Students4Students EPFL). I strive to transmit my knowledge and my passion for the subject to my students, at a pace adapted to their needs. I think that students who take private lessons have a sincere desire to overcome their difficulties and that we must therefore pay particular attention to encouraging them. I quickly noticed that the problem often comes from understanding the exercises given rather than the course itself, so here's how I like to proceed: I always start by first making sure that the principle of the course is understood by focusing on the points that block, and then we can start looking at the exercises, given by the teacher, that pose a problem. The goal is that at the end of the rehearsal course, the student has in his hands cards with the different methods used to solve all the possible types of exercises, especially those requested in the exam. I myself take care of preparing these sheets during the rehearsal course in order to summarize all the methods acquired.

Student in the second year of a master's degree in Chemistry at EPFL, I offer individualized pedagogy, help with the preparation of questions or exams as well as homework support. I can offer you a level from high school to university. My goal is to help you progress while enjoying studying subjects that are not always easy for everyone.

Hello ! My name is Julia and I am a master's student in Engineering at EPFL. Do you have difficulty in certain scientific subjects, such as maths, chemistry or physics? I am here for this ! Whether you are a pupil or student (school and university level), we can face these difficulties together. I am available to give online courses, on the EPFL campus or directly at your home.

I can give private lessons in mathematics (or physics, of your choice) gymnasium level (standard or reinforced), whether to understand the basic concepts or to understand the program as much as possible before an exam. My goal is to help the student progress throughout the year in these subjects which are often quite complicated, so that he/she succeeds in his/her year with flying colors.
