If you are a beginner, I'll teach you Italian from scratch and I'll help you develop your writing, reading, listening, and above all, your speaking skills. If you already speak Italian, I'll provide you with lessons only in Italian. I'll help you to learn my language using songs lyrics, newspapers articles, videos, and more.

La lezione si focalizza sule capacità di conversazione, sul vocabolario e la pronuncia, e sarà tenuta en italiano/inglese, ma possiamo scambiarci qualche parola anche in olandese. Praticheremo dialoghi su vari argomenti per migliorare la fluidità e la sicurezza nel parlare, introdurremo nuove parole e frasi, con esercizi in contesto quotidiano e lavoreremo sulla corretta articolazione dei suoni italiani, migliorando l'intonazione and l'accento attraverso esercizi specifici. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests and availability of the student. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and put the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course and for each lesson I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

Hello, 27-year-old Italian boy, with a master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Paris 8, offers courses in Italian, French, Spanish and English. Having offered courses in these languages for years, I offer an experienced and guaranteed system, useful for constantly improving yourself both in writing and speaking and conducive to learning autonomy.

In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course). As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).

Ciao! I'm Sara and I'm an Italian teacher with more than 8 years of experience teaching this wonderful language! I began teaching when I was studying my Bachelor's degree (che bei tempi!) ... I started almost as a joke but I realized soon that I actually liked this profession and, after so many years, I still feel the same! In a lesson for a volunteer learner, I would prioritise speaking practice, since the pronunciation of certain syllables is essential.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
