I am currently pursuing my degree in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. I am originally from Malaysia but I have lived in Denmark for 5 years and currently living in the Netherlands for the past 3 years. However, English is my first language and I also have an IETLS certificate. I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the language. Therefore, during the lesson, I will incorporate tasks and activities involving these 3 aspects. We will also go through basic grammar rules that will be useful for both writing and daily conversations. I will provide online worksheets and assignments (included in the fees of the lesson) to be done during the lesson and also as homework. Workbooks may be provided at an additional cost which you can work with on your own at home after the lesson. This is of course highly recommended for your own benefit as practice makes perfect. In the first meeting, we will discuss further on the preference of workload and what you would like to learn. In case of sign up by parents, it is the parents' responsibility to communicate what are the needs of their child in regard with learning. I am open to having group classes of 3-5 students. On a tight timeline, Mihaela was able to make time to meet with me in person for an hour lesson to introduce me to Italian. For the introductory lesson, I felt it covered a good amount of ground (and she even provided a document of everything we covered and more via email)! She explained hard and soft pronunciation between G + C and pronunciation of vowels. She prepared exercises to help me introduce myself to others. Mihaela even explained some of the historical background of the location we met at, Sforzesco Castle. After our lesson, she also gave me recommendations of places to visit in Milan. In short, Mihaela was thorough, patient, courteous, and communicative! I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
