During the last ten years, her goal has been to solve an important issue: how to make students interested in piano playing. Most kids who learn the piano would give up before or during their teenage time. However, 99% of them regret it when they grow up. In Christina's lesson, she will acknowledge to the students and parents clearly what difficulties they will face during the process of music learning. It's more important that students learn to develop a good habit, a worthwhile hobby, and the perseverance that will benefit their whole life. About the class: Different students may require different class lengths. For a child under the age of six, the teacher recommends less time for each class but a higher frequency. Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music (small ensembles like trios, quartet), bands (new music), solo and orchestras such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and Jong Metropole (national youth jazz orchestra). I love to play classical music but also some jazz, funk or pop! I like to play with people, create music together, improvise... And I hope this is something I can also pass on to my students! Since 6 years I am teaching all kind of people: all ages, all level, in different languages, individual or in groups... So don't be afraid to have a try! Violin and music theory lessons for people of all ages and levels in Den Haag (The Hague)

I like Yulia, my 8 yrs old daughter likes Yulia and here is why: she's the best violin tutor my daughter has had! My daughter is very active and we have had two tutors before and she got on well with the previous tutors on a "fun" level, yet she hardly made time to play violin and each tutoring session became a play date and practicing on violin was a struggle. With Yulia, my daughter actually plays violin now and she's starting to enjoy classical music as well. I find Yulia naturally engaging and for my daughter learning music with Yulia becomes an automatic flow, so she hardly notices that she's had a "long" violin lesson. Now we look forward to seeing Yulia every week!

We had Elsa in for a lesson as my son's usual cello teacher was not feeling well. Elsa was prompt in responding, punctual and most importantly, taught my son effectively. We are very happy with her and will not hesitate to call on her the next time we need her assistance again.
