I have taught violin and viola in the UK for leading national organisations including Opera North, In harmony and Orchestras for All. I have over 10 years of private and school based teaching experience and have taught students from aged 4 to adults. I also ran an outreach music and arts project in the UK delivering music and art workshops in schools and art galleries as well as online, the project was recognised with two national awards from Deutsche Bank and UnLtd. I have led and conducted school string ensembles and set up beginner string programs for Harrogate Music School, Cardiff Young Strings and The Strings Club, Birmingham. My teaching style incorporates aspects of Dalcroze and Kodaly methodology as well as improvisation and collaborative composition. I develop a bespoke approach alongside each student to ensure they are able to get the most out of their lessons and make lessons enjoyable. My lessons focus on developing technique and skills required to play music the student has chosen and I incorporate play and games into lessons to enable the most effective learning. Asja is really a good teacher to me, since I had 10 lessons from her before and my level growing from 3 to 4 during the lessons. Now I bought 10 lessons from her again. I planed to be her student in my whole piano studying life, because she is very good at teaching piano. Not only good at teaching me about the piano skills, melodious, and to be patience, but also good at correct my mistakes and explain how to improved it until I totally got her point. Especially some mistakes I don’t how to express those problems, but I feel something wrong. Share some useful skills with me to improve my skills gradually. Always have a happy lesson from her, and feel so friendly with her 😊 Its my luck to have such a good teacher 😃
