I am a double-qualified engineer from INSA Toulouse and Université Sherbrooke CANADA and have taken a preparatory class, accumulating experience as a private teacher in mathematics and physics-chemistry for more than 12 years. My goal is to help your child reach their full academic potential in mathematics and physics-chemistry and thus develop skills that will prepare them for a bright future. Why choose my courses? Would you like your child to: Significantly improve your results in mathematics/physics-chemistry? Join a selective curriculum? Become independent and confident in your abilities? Over the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of supporting more than 80 French students, from middle school (years 6, 7, 8, 9) to high school (years 10, 11, 12), towards academic success. My students achieved good averages, passed the brevet, the baccalaureate and the preparatory classes, while strengthening their self-confidence. My teaching method in 3 steps: Short term: Immediate improvement in average by assimilating the course and preparing for assessments. This includes assimilating the course, taking notes, practicing standard exercises, anticipating teachers' expectations and test questions, as well as acquiring writing methods. Medium term: Integration of reasoning and working methods. Your child will learn to work regularly in this order: assimilation, training exercises, preparation for assessments and analysis of results. Long term: Setting clear goals, building steps to achieve them, becoming aware of the SIMPLICITY of mathematics and physics-chemistry, building confidence in one's abilities and unleashing your child's potential. Details of the formula: One to two sessions of 1h/h30/2h per week to assimilate the course and prepare for assessments. Courses delivered via ZOOM / Teams or Google Meet for effective online learning. Use of a virtual whiteboard to facilitate the assimilation of concepts. Access to an online library including 10 reference books in mathematics or 15 reference books in physics-chemistry. Over 1000 online exercises to strengthen math and physics-chemistry skills. Questions ? Contact me now on Apprentus, and I will respond quickly. Together, we can give your child the future they deserve through an exceptional math education. Don't let this opportunity pass you by! Book today for outstanding results in mathematics.

I've been tutoring since I was sixteen years old. What started as a small hobby of providing extra-curricular help for some of my IB classmates 10 years ago, has now gradually evolved into a full-time passion of mine that I derive deep fulfilment from. In addition to the joy I feel from the teaching process itself, the fundamental reason I enjoy what I do lies in the mentorship I give to my students, and in providing for them a clarity in perspective, confidence in their own potential, and an unwavering support throughout a time in their life when things feel overwhelming and confusing. Having graduated the IB in 2014 from École Jeannine Manuel in Paris, and endured the gruelling and competitive university selection process, I remember first-hand how much pressure students experience at this critical stage of their academic careers - a time when attaining a particular grade boundary dictates whether or not they'll be able to attend their dream university, and begin the life they've envisioned for themselves. This hyper-fixation on academic performance is often complemented by a collective learning environment that can easily neglect the unique, subtle nuances of each individual's learning style and pace. In wanting to do well, students often find themselves mitigating a teaching approach that, by necessity, prioritises this group environment, and resort to finding their own way through topics & exams - a path they don't need to navigate alone. This is where I can help. Having been in both the student and teacher roles of the academic experience, I've encountered the range of challenges and pitfalls that often lead to unsuccessful outcomes, and, in the worst cases, a misjudgment of our own abilities, and a lowering of our own potential. In distilling my dual experience, I have understood the keystone component that determines where these outcomes fall: Communication. Any form of learning - and teaching - at their core, rely on a verbal, visual and conceptual exchange between people. The problem, however, is that every person's mind operates with its own distinct vocabulary - one that deserves time and attention to be properly understood, and taught towards. Frameworks that may cement an understanding for one individual - be they teacher or pupil - don't automatically translate to another, particularly when these approaches need to be homogenised and streamlined for collective education. My priority as a private tutor is to be as useful to you & your specific needs as possible. In working together, I'll be able to garner a deep understanding of how and why things make sense to you, and integrate my experience and intuition to develop tailored pedagogical strategies that will surgically refine & reframe both your theoretical and examination skillsets.

Hello everyone, I'm Megs, a 4th year Medical Student who achieved 4 A*s at A Level in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I would love to pass on my knowledge to others So the way I teach is very reflective of how you learn, but I always try to encorporate questions into my teaching. I will do sessions based on topics you tell me you need help on, and then I try to do questions to get an idea of where your understanding is. I will set up increasing difficulty to allow you to build on what you already know, instead of wasting time doing content you are already fully comfortable with. This helps make sessions proficient and not waste your time. I always make my own slides using exam style questions found online, and explaining the content in my own words. I find doing it this way helps me better understand knowledge before I relay it onto you, and ultimately then makes more sense to yourself. I use both explanations from the very basics of the content and the questions to get the most out of sessions, and I can bounce back and forth. My previous tutee preferred to go over content from the basics regardless of her level, for content refreshers, and then to go onto questions, so I am flexible in how I use my resources based on how you learn. I have experience in AQA and edexcel exam boards, and other exam boards tend to overlap so I am happy to look over other exam boards to let you know if I am capable of covering those as well as AQA and Edexcel, but I unfortunately have no experience in other equivalents
