Methodology : I have been supporting my students towards autonomy for more than ten years. My teaching is twofold: - Understanding and acquisition of mathematical techniques, - Motivation and self-confidence in learning (pedagogical coaching). How does this materialize in practice during the lessons? - Learning by doing, which gives meaning to the theory. - Analysis of reasoning and methods. - Putting mathematical concepts into perspective: origin, real utility, link with other disciplines. - How to learn to learn? - How to find a solution? - Specific preparation for exams and competitions. Motivation and confidence come with practice, and I always act with patience, kindness and humor. At every step, I am there for the student and for his success. Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to change your outlook on mathematics and enter a virtuous circle of learning. I offer individual lessons and internships during school holidays, or upon arrival of an exam. I teach in French or in English. Summary : Investment, pragmatism and empathy with my students. Student follow-up by phone and email outside of class. Possibility, on request, to discuss with parents of students that I am. Course: I have been supporting my students for more than ten years: in high school class and in private lessons. Today, I work exclusively as a private teacher, a bit like a preceptor, even if the term seems obsolete. Your success is therefore mine. My goal is to make students want to learn mathematics again. All my students are progressing. Curriculum vitae - Mining Engineer - Master of Sciences, Imperial College, London - Scientific consultant in industrial companies (R&D). - Mathematics teacher in high school, National Education. - Private teacher.

Chemistry, whether at the GCSE or A-Level, offers students an exciting journey into the building blocks of our world and equips them with a foundational understanding of matter and its transformations. At the GCSE level, students are introduced to key concepts such as atomic structure, the periodic table, bonding, and chemical reactions. Through hands-on experiments, they explore how elements combine to form compounds, investigate the properties of acids and bases, and study introductory organic and environmental chemistry. Practical skills and theoretical knowledge are developed in parallel, fostering an understanding of the scientific method and analytical thinking. As students advance to A-Level Chemistry, they deepen their knowledge with more sophisticated topics and a greater focus on problem-solving. Here, they explore physical chemistry, learning about reaction rates, thermodynamics, equilibrium, and redox reactions in-depth. Organic chemistry expands to cover mechanisms, functional groups, and synthetic pathways, while inorganic chemistry includes the study of complex compounds and transition metals. A-Level students also engage in advanced practical work, developing precision in laboratory techniques and research skills crucial for scientific inquiry. Together, GCSE and A-Level Chemistry provide a solid framework for students, paving the way for further study in fields like medicine, engineering, pharmacology, and biochemistry. By exploring both fundamental and complex chemical principles, students cultivate a critical understanding of the natural world and gain skills that will benefit them in a wide range of scientific and technical disciplines.

Benson
After my first lesson with Benson, i have felt more confidence in my skills with chemistry than i have in many years. Where I previously felt very subconscious and unable to answer questions, i have now been able to answer difficult IB exams questions with ease. Benson provided me a safe and comfortable environment which has left me excited for my next class at school to show what i have learned with a fresh confidence! I highly recommend this tutor to anyone who struggles with confidence in both themselves and their subjects.

Raef
Superb experience with Raef. I asked for his help to prepare a math assessment test with an enormous lack of basis but he accepted the challenge. I found out a nice teacher who is not afraid of explaining and repeating if necessary. I did enjoy his method with the whiteboard, it feels like you are in the same place and can interact on the same exercise. Either in English or french he will certainly be able to help you. He is super kind and flexible, I definitively recommend his services.
