Trusted teacher: ENG | I finished my master's degree in classical cello performance at IMEP, Namur with prof. Joachim. I have played in numerous orchestras and chamber music ensembles in Belgium and Greece. I have had masterclasses with important cello teachers. I have 2 years of experience teaching cello. I have a “Certificate of Teaching Competence” which I received after completing 6 other subjects during my Bachelor in Greece. I also followed 6 years of private piano lessons and an intermediate level diploma. I would really like to help you discover the world of music. As a cellist who has received very structured education, I can help you build your technique and at the same time your musicality. As each student is different, the course is adapted to their desires and needs. At the same time we can develop our ears with music theory and solfege. Also I am open to work other types of music than classical. I am able to teach in English, French and Greek I hope to have the chance to transmit my love for music to you! Do not hesitate to contact me on Apprentus for more information. Thank you, Artemis EN| I finished my master's degree in music in cello training at IMEP, Namur with teacher. Joachim. Trusted teacher: I teach you to play the cello, to open up more deeply to the world of music. Whether you are beginner, intermediate, or even more advanced. From children to adults. I also offer musical awareness. Originally from Auvergne and Paris, I am currently pursuing my musical journey at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Marie Hallynck's class. I hold a Diploma in Musical Studies in cello, obtained at the Regional Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison in the Paris region. My teaching experience: private cello teacher, cello teacher within the French organization Orchester à l'Ecole, whose objective is to allow easier accessibility to classical music for children who are far from it, piano teacher , music theory teacher. Depending on the level of the student, I put in place an adapted work program, which combines non-exhaustively: 1/ learning the necessary bases in music theory in order to be able to read music, to be comfortable with a score 2/ of course, cello practice, one step after the other! 3/ initiation to improvisation 4/ initiation to singing. My primary objective is to allow my students to be comfortable with a score, but also to be comfortable without it. This will allow expressivity and the development of their sensitivity, their creativity, their musicality. Music delights us, makes us happy, liberates us, soothes us, calms us... Its learning requires a minimum of rigor, a rigor which should not frighten you! 15 minutes a day can be enough to see progress over the days. That's not much to start with, is it? I am at your disposal for all your questions. Looking forward to meeting and working together. Yours truly. Faustina

Trusted teacher: Hello! I have been teaching classes continuously for more than 10 years and I would like to explain what you can find in a class with me! - To begin with, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need. For example, we will not put the same level of demand if you want to play for pleasure at home without haste or if you want to do some entrance exams to musical studies (although always with the same good rigor). The needs of each student can vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, the postural work, the repertoire... - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed is not equal to undemanding or rigorous, just that we will try not to resort to military methods, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to note is that my methods are very dynamic and with special emphasis on the development of the ear and musicality. No reading, spitting and changing songs. I try to avoid methods that focus too much on the continuous reading of scores without memorizing, listening or understanding what is being done and why, especially so that later you can make your own aesthetic decisions and feel ownership of your performance. Alert! Maybe I'll even make you sing. - Last but not least, it should be noted that given my training (I studied classical music and modern music and jazz at the Taller de Músics) my tendency will be to give the same importance to different types of music. We will adapt to your tastes and needs, but for me we can go from baroque to blues, from blues to Haydn's sonatas, from Haydn to bebop and from bebop to Michael Jackson. Why not? If you like what you have read, do not hesitate to contact me. Learning to play the cello is a pleasure and I would love to share it with you!

François-Jean
I am very happy to have found a teacher like François-Jean for my very first encounters with a cello. Not only he is very competent as a musician and teacher he also is multilingual and I enjoy my lessons given in my mother tongue German. Until now I had 3 lessons with him all of them fruitful, focussed and funny at the same time. I can highly recommend him for every person interested in cello lessons in Brussels.

María
My daughter had a very positive and helpful first lesson as someone who has returned to playing cello after a few years break. Maria was professional, kind and constructive in her approach. Both myself and my daughter were very happy with the first 2 lessons and look forward to learning more with Maria.

Pierre
He is a very attentive teacher who adapts to your needs. Even I have played Cello for many years, we can work on many smaller and larger improvements that really improve the quality of sound and let me experience the music more fully. Always very fun lessons where I learn a lot
