Trusted teacher: ¡Hola!

Trusted teacher: I am a UCL Biological Sciences student seeking to offer a highly personalised tutoring experience that caters to my students' needs. I currently teach from Year 7 upwards with a speciality in exam preparation. I teach Geography, RS, Physics, and English from Years 7-11, and Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry from Years 7-13. I aim to understand my tutees' unique concerns and explain concepts simply with many alternative approaches. As someone who has experienced obstacles to my own learning, I have a lot of empathy for students struggling with their learning, particularly those with learning differences and endeavour to develop an approach that works for them. I was a strong student in secondary school (Queen’s College, London) achieving A*s and As (and equivalents) at GCSE and three As at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Particularly of note, I received a 9 in GCSE Mathematics, 98% in GCSE Religious Studies, and was awarded a sixth-form academic scholarship. I am an experienced tutor - I participated in a tutoring scheme in secondary school which allowed students from Year 7 to Year 12 to ask any questions they might be struggling with in any subject they wished. This allowed me to continue to engage with my GCSE content during my A-Level years and taught me how to listen to and understand the particular needs of each student at a given moment. I also tutored family and friends of family, allowing me to engage personally with my students and develop a specialised teaching approach. I offer one hour and two hour sessions and am free on weekends, after 5pm, and whenever my university timetable permits. I am generally free at all times outside of university term time.

Trusted teacher: A student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), I am currently in BA5 in the IC (computer science) faculty. I have been giving private lessons since 2018 in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences since summer 2021, I completed a 3-month internship in a hospital environment in the psychiatric sector and basic research in neuroscience. I have also been giving private lessons in mathematics and physics for 8th grade students at the gymnasium or in preparation for their maturity for 6 years. Many of my students have an ADHD profile, and I always enjoy adapting to the needs of each person, maintaining DYNAMICS in the course and doing interactive exercises so that the knowledge sinks in better. .. I love teaching, making people understand and seeing that moment of light on the student's face for whom everything becomes clear! Dynamic, I am myself a studious and serious student. I have gone through the challenges and stress of exams and competitions many times. --> My goal is to give you confidence and provide you with the right method to succeed in your course. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ COURSE STRUCTURE ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Notes: Home visits possible from Morges to Pully: variable rates as NOT transported Possible to give the course at Rolex, the EPFL library: FIXED prices. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ --> Possible upgrade. --> Exam preparation. --> Course reviews. --> Review an exam not understood or knowledge not acquired.
