Trusted teacher: I'm a bass player and composer, a graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow (UK). I've got over fifteen years of experience in teaching music and I offer one-to-one lessons in: • Composing • Arranging • Electric Bass (Jazz and other modern music - No Classical) • Double Bass (Jazz and other modern music - No Classical) • Music Theory • Jazz Harmony • Notation with Sibelius software • Ensemble and Musicianship Although my method is tailored to each student's needs, I structure it as follows: • Establish a connection with the pupil by understanding their needs and musical objectives. • Design a path tailored to the pupil's goals that uses and develops any pre-existing knowledge and skills. • Guide the student in comprehending the theory behind the basic elements of music, such as scales and arpeggios. • Introduction to the notions of tonality, harmony and harmonic analysis. • Development of the notions of melody, form and structure. • Guide the pupil in understanding the application of different techniques of approaching the composing process, in order to establish a personal method. • Understanding the specific musical language of different genres such as Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, Pop y Folk through listening and transcriptions. • Analysis of scores and arrangements of other composers. • Practical composing exercises based upon the studied techniques. Trusted teacher: Hello (future) musician! Do you also have a song in your head that you would like to play? Always wanted to play electric or acoustic guitar or bass guitar? Have you never touched a string, or are you advanced and looking for new challenges? I have been giving guitar lessons since 2007 with great pleasure. In addition to these private lessons, I worked at the Guitar Academy in Amsterdam, at Muziekles Den Bosch and at Art in Music in Utrecht, next to my work as an executive musician. I studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg and Musicology at Utrecht University. Broad interests, reflected in the hoevelheid styles I play and education (from pop and rock to salsa, tango and gypsy to metal and jazz). I also give solfège and music theory. It does not matter how exotic your interest, I can help you get better! In addition, I can choose and arrange songs for you, so that there is no limit to your imagination: learn to play what you want to learn to play. These lessons are not given in a large, impersonal music school: lesson duration and lesson dates are discussed and are flexible. Personal and smooth, easier for everyone. Besides guitar enthusiast teaching is a big passion of mine, and I think that is essential to be able to offer good lessons. Whether I teach you how to play your first songs in a few lessons, or whether we are going to pick up some tough pieces, it is a pleasant and productive learning process. Lessons in Wittevrouwen, Utrecht or at extra cost at home. If you have questions, mail or call!

Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Martin, thank you very much for visiting my profile. I am Belgian although I have recently lived in Madrid. It's been more than 10 years since I started playing the guitar self-taught, thanks to the teacher;...Youtube. My beginnings began with the ukulele, later I moved on to the guitar and quickly fell in love with the bass, although I like to experiment with all the gadgets that make noise, especially the drums. I like to listen and learn a little about everything, so, regarding my musical profile, hmm, I would define it in a few styles such as; psychedelic rock, pop, folk, bossa nova, Latin music, jazz and classical music but what I like the most is improvisation. In recent years I have delved a lot into the language of jazz and Latin American rhythms, although previously I have had more concerts based on pop and rock. I also do music production with the Ableton program based on experimentation and electronic music. I have trained with teachers of the stature of Guillaume Vierset, François Delporte, Bo Vanderwerf, Olivier Stalon, Michelle Massot and Laurent Blondiau in Belgium. I have studied at the Jazz Studio school in Antwerp, at the MAI center in Nancy (France), and at the Jazz Cultural Theater in Bilbao with Joshua Edelman. After all my journey, I consider that starting out as a musician can be difficult, but magical at the same time. No methods! Each student is different, and that is why, depending on your abilities, demands, perseverance and tastes, I will adapt to your way of working. My objective; have fun from minute zero while working hard.
