I believe the best way to learn music is to study what you love, and always work from a place of curiosity and passion. Therefore, we will always look together for ways of making the process the most enjoyable and tackle different topics through the music YOU love. The classes are tailored to each individual student: we find the best workflow for you, and adapt the lessons. If you need structure and a clear program, I can provide that; but if you prefer to keep it loose and see as we go, it's all good. All that matters is your continued motivation and progress. It might be easy to find an average guitar teacher, but genuine insight is much harder to come by - over the years, I've seen it all, and I want to use my experience to help you! ABOUT ME I am a friendly, solid, inspiring, patient, real-world music teacher, with over a decade's experience as a working, touring, studying, writing, teaching, musician! APPROACH Creating a nice atmosphere is really important to me. I'd love to know more about your goals and what excites you - your dreams might be as big as building a career in music, or as small as being able to perform a few songs to no-one but yourself and your cat. Anything and everything in between is totally valid and worth exploring! THINGS I CAN HELP WITH - How to get the most from music, whether that be through following a grade system, or just learning how to play the music you love. - Getting to that "next level" of guitar playing, wherever you are at the moment - Organising the fretboard, rhythm, inspiration, what to practice (at any level) - Providing helpful real-world context for the things you might be learning at school/college/university/YouTube - Songwriting/Arranging/Production, from very first steps to advanced concepts - Blocks/worries you might have about any aspect of music, or a kind of music coaching role (I'm not a licensed therapist but I'm here for it!) FIRST LESSON This would be an introductory session, where we get a feel for each other and what your aims are. I have learned a lot with Andrea! I have had classes with Andrea for about 5 months now, and I have the sense that I have learned a lot about the fundamentals of bass playing in a way that I really struggled with learning by myself. He is a very patient teacher when going through more difficult theories or movements, but I've walked away from every class knowing a bit more and feeling a bit more confident in my playing.

First lesson went of quite well considering that I'm a novice, but with help from Nuno who is a very patient and pleasant guy i do feel a bit more confident. He explains it in a simple format giving you the time to understand what you are actually trying to play. I look forward to my next session

Axel is really patient and has a laid back attitude to teaching yet still manages to accomplish a lot in one lesson. He explains things very patiently and breaks everything down into manageable pieces. He's an excellent teacher and I can’t recommend him enough.
