Painting and drawing lessons with Nadia Lyapina Course description: This course is designed for anyone interested in developing their artistic skills in painting and drawing, regardless of their level. Led by Impressionist artist Nadia Lyapina, this course covers a wide range of techniques and approaches, with a particular focus on each student's individual preferences. Course program: 1. The basics of drawing and composition In the first few classes, we'll cover the basics of observational drawing, exploring light, shadow, perspective, and anatomy. Exercises will include drawing a variety of objects, helping you develop your precision and attention to detail. 2. Work on color and painting techniques A significant portion of the course will be devoted to mastering various painting techniques. We will work with oil, watercolor, gouache, and acrylic, learning to combine colors harmoniously and create expressive works of art. 3. Impressionism and contemporary styles I will share with you my knowledge of the Impressionist style, including how to convey light and atmosphere using bright, pure colors. Students will also discover contemporary techniques, such as abstraction and realism, to broaden their artistic horizons. 4. Personalized exercises and constructive feedback An essential part of this course is working one-on-one with each student. Each participant will receive exercises tailored to their level, allowing them to work on improving specific skills. I am a Manchester based actress and I have been working professionally in the Musical Theatre industry for 10 years after graduating from Laine Theatre Arts in 2015. I have been lucky enough to travel the world as a Lead Vocalist and perform in several plays, pantomimes, musicals and commercials. I am super passionate about teaching others and getting the absolute best out of them. I truly believe encouragement and confidence is the key to success! I have taught Musical Theatre, Singing and Dance for over 15 years and specialise in acting through song. I love bringing my acting training in to songs and really thinking about the words we are singing and what we are trying to achieve through this, what is the purpose of the song etc - this is so important and can be transformational! I can also help with technique, warm ups and cool downs, vocal health and audition prep in either Pop or Musical Theatre. Also because I am still currently working in the industry I have first hand knowledge in what is happening at the moment and how things work. Whether you are a beginner and just want to try it out for fun or if you are looking for help with drama school auditions/ professional auditions then I can tailor the lesson to suit you :) Zoom classes or happy to teach at students house if based around the Manchester or Preston area.
