Trusted teacher: Hello! My name is Luz. I am a singer, and I teach singing using the Rabine Method and the Alexander Technique. The Rabine Method is a vocal technique and pedagogy, and the Alexander Technique is a method developed to improve posture and the way we use our bodies. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE VOICE: Singing has been a lifelong passion for me, but I used to be quite shy and introverted. I was afraid to sing in front of others, even though a part of me longed to do so. At the age of 15, I began taking singing lessons to create a safe space for myself to sing, where only my teacher would listen. Slowly, I started performing live and began to truly enjoy it. However, over time, I encountered difficulties with my vocal technique, and my enjoyment of singing faded. After an extensive search for the right teachers to help me overcome these challenges, I discovered the Alexander Technique and the Rabine Method. That's when my journey towards progress and joy truly began. ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE AND THE RABINE METHOD: The Alexander Technique teaches people how to reduce general body tension and move in harmony with their body's mechanics, paying close attention to the spine and joints. Within just three months of weekly lessons, I noticed improvements in both my posture and my voice. I came to understand that the vocal system is intricately connected to the entire body, and singing could be a harmonious experience for both my mind and my body. This newfound joy inspired me to help others in the same way, leading me to become an Alexander Technique teacher. Around the same time, I also discovered the Rabine Method, an exceptional vocal technique with a profound understanding of the phonatory system and a clear pedagogical approach that caters to individual student needs. It is centered on recognizing the unique learning process of each student and determining what they are ready to absorb. Through my lessons, my goal is to transmit the joy and happiness that singing can bring. I hope my students will learn to focus on the learning process and be surprised by the results. My teaching approach doesn't solely prioritize outcomes; it values the joy of the journey to get there. I firmly believe that everyone can sing because we all possess the same vocal system. The key lies in training and developing awareness of our current abilities so that we can work with what we bring to each lesson. MY EXPERIENCE WITH STUDENTS: I have worked with a diverse range of students, including those who: - Initially struggled to sing in tune but made great improvements in less than a year. - Were once extremely shy and introverted but experienced a boost in confidence and joy while singing in front of me. - Were musicians with their own bands but lacked knowledge on how to care for their vocal cords during performances. - Simply needed a supportive space to unleash their expressiveness and relish their voices. - Had unpleasant experiences with previous teachers who crashed their confidence. - Didn ́t like their own sound due to a disorganized technique

Trusted teacher: Hello all ! 😊 I am the artist Axelle, a teacher for 10 years in Parisian workshops, universities and art schools as well as online for individuals. Self-taught, I created an atypical method of learning drawing under intellectual protection: you will find all the information about my courses on my website, the address of which appears in the first photo of this ad. I can teach in French and English. This method, developed during my years of teaching and the collaboration of students, includes, among other things, the study of drawing, painting, proportions, human expression, observation, colorimetry and even art. therapy and demystifies everything that our modern era brings bias to these practices. Simple, logical explanations free of any vague, subjective, elitist or hazardous artistic concepts, as well as a return to the essential framework. The terms Art, Artist or Observation are redefined in a natural and factual space, all from a scientific and anthropological angle. The functioning of the brain, vision, the appreciation of distances, the evaluation of color, the appetite for texture and even the process of creativity are explained when necessary to set up a healthy experimental laboratory. and available to the student. Graphic expression being a cognitive and psychomotor activity, it is essential to understand the tools at our disposal to use them better and clear communication between the teacher and the student is essential to transmit this know-how: hence the difficulty growing popularity of teaching a sensory practice simply via a book or to an audience of more than twenty students. My approach is as follows: I am only the teacher of the moment and remain an eternal student, forever the sole disciple of experience. The same goes for my current students to whom I transfer the tools allowing them to become, in turn, their own teacher. Art requires flexibility of mind, self-knowledge, the abandonment of a certain struggle and the rigor that only a passion can give birth to without effort or constraints. Once these basic lines have been mastered and the technical aspects assimilated, a wonderful power opens up to you: that of expressing yourself as close as possible to your inner self with the power and intensity that words cannot achieve, in the The primitive and faithful authenticity of what resides deep within your consciousness. Human expression is the most dizzying of journeys. To rub shoulders with Art is to build the ship that will take you there from the most watertight and robust wood. Very or too often, I welcome adults or adolescents who are beginners in workshops to sincere questioning between themselves and Art. I take stock of the imaginary and unconscious barriers that today's ideas erect, and the notable waste that this can cause. The most important tool in learning to draw remains Observation, too often underestimated, wrongly: this is why my unique method is modeled on our way of perceiving and thinking about the world. From the very first minutes, we focus on this tool which brings together 80% of our ability to draw, rather than a classic educational framework which will omit the human and neurocognitive aspect which is nevertheless crucial behind this practice. So whatever your profession, your personality or your past, be sure to be legitimate in your first steps towards drawing or painting: no longer doubt the Artist within you.

Trusted teacher: Piano and Composition Teacher in Berlin-Mitte I was born in 1988 in Camagüey, Cuba. At the age of nine I received my first piano lessons in my hometown. At the age of fourteen I began Oboe studies at the Jose White Provincial Conservatory of Music in Camaguey. In 2009 I began my higher studies in the intensive education of Oboe and Composition at the University of the Arts of Cuba, ISA in Havana, Cuba. He collaborated during those years with several artists, participating in several Havana Biennials. This allowed me to meet and participate in workshops with Gabriel Orozco, Hemann Nitsch, Marina Abramovic, Antoni Muntadas among others. In 2016 I created my project HavanaModerno, a platform for interdisciplinary arts. There I was able to collaborate with top-level artists such as Carolina Eyck (Theremin), Thorwald Jorguensen, Ernesto Mendoza, Lera Auerbach, Delta Piano Trio, Rascher Saxophone Quartet, among others. During my studies, I started working in the theater as a Sound Designer and Voice and Singing teacher. Also, for several years I taught Musical Analysis and Harmony at the National School of Music (ENA). During my years of study and training I was able to create and develop various projects, as a curator and producer, some of them in collaboration with the National Electroacoustic Music Laboratory in Havana, Cuba (LNME). One of them was the Primavera Festival in Havana, where you can exchange with composers such as German Toro-Perez, Carlos Hidalgo, Annette Vande Gorne Annette Vande Gorne and Marie-Jeanne Wyckmans, Neil Leonard, Clemens von Reusner, Kristi Allik among others. I completed my Composition studies with Prof. Juan Pinera, who gave me extensive knowledge about the world of musical creation. In May 2016 I concluded my studies with a Bachelor of Music, in Composition. After graduating, I continued working in theater and music as a composition teacher and a Sound Workshop for visual artists as well as a curator and producer of the HavanaModerno project until 2021. I currently live and develop my career in Berlin. How I teach: My own training was interdisciplinary. This helped me to see art as a connected entity between its different expressions and not separate. This allowed me to have a broader image in terms of time, style, history, aesthetics, philosophy and thought. For this reason, I use a similar approach in my classes, where technical work in parallel with technical skill development is equally important. Without information and culture there can be no creation. Anyone who has something to say can be a composer, but for this he needs several creative and technical tools that allow him to open up his sound world and put it on paper. To provide the student with these tools, scores will be analyzed, concerts are observed and discussed, films, auditions, texts, etc. are analyzed. Also, we work on the basis of musical analysis and orchestration to support the student with technical information on writing and musical colors. The work at the piano develops in the same way. For composition or piano, it is important to know the student's interests in order to support him on that path of finding his own language and sound worlds. The teacher, here can only accompany and offer information and experience.
