If the answer is yes, I am here to teach you and take you on a trip to past historical periods, learning the keys of each culture, and enjoying learning about ancient empires, wars, society and the diversity of people that shaped the world in which we live today. I am Rubén, a recent PhD in Archaeology by the University of Leicester with extensive experience teaching in academia for the last 6 years. I have also taught Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I developed methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My experience to communicate to different types of audiences have been enhanced through my work as a contributing writer for the National Geographic History Magazine. In these classes you will be able to learn, depending on your choices...: - To recognise the main artworks of the Art world History. - To wander through the art of the Ancient World. - To identify the key aspects of historical periods. - To identify the main artworks and understand the sociocultural contexts of production. - To carry out iconographical analysis of specific artworks. - The Archaeology of Greece and Rome. The variety of topics and subjects we can cover will vary depending on the interest of the student. From general Art History lessons to very specific ones, such as the Art of the Roman World and the Provinces, or different tours through Pompeii, Herculaneum and other legendary cities of the Ancient World such as Rome, Athens, and many more. Kunstbeschouwing training is easy to do. Wat ervaar en herken je in het werk van een kunstenaar en hoe past jou interpretatie in je culture bewustzijn. You can zoom in and zoom in at specific locations. We also have the chance to have a job in our workshop and we have it ready to go. (not included in the contents of the museum in question) I present to you the arts from the beginning of our civilization to contemporary artistic movements. Where establishing relationships between individual artists and social developments plays an important role. We go to exhibitions where I teach you to look and analyze how the artist made his work and what he was doing and, if applicable, wanted to convey something with his work. Training in artistic reflection is part of the teaching. What do you experience and recognize in an artist's work and how does your interpretation fit into your cultural consciousness? Upon request, I will zoom in on specific artists. We will also visit an artist in his studio and interact with them. (museum entrance fees and round-trip transportation are not included)

Chinese art history from 5th century to contemporary (Uccle)
Penny
Penny is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about Chinese Art History. The lesson is perfectly prepared with good documentation but also with the flexibility to branch out in neighbouring subjects or drill down deeper on certain topics. The presentation is very entertaining and clearly benefits from Penny's experience and eductation in China. Enjoyable and profound.
