Trusted teacher: CONTENTS : This course is aimed at university students, in the field of mathematics. This course is also suitable for students at EPFL as well as students of mathematics and physics), but also for faculties of economics (except economic mathematics), or medicine for example. The goal is simple: to help you understand by yourself and acquire an intuition of the desired mathematical concepts, as well as the resolution of the exercises. The courses cover a number of subjects. The student chooses the desired branch (the choices are listed below (*). Additional drills can be provided upon request. (*)The topics covered in this course are: -Analysis I, Advanced Analysis I [one-variable real analysis, integration, etc...] -Analysis II, Advanced Analysis II [real multivariate analysis, integration, differential equations, etc...] -Linear Algebra I [linear maps, matrices, determinants, diagonalization (AL2), etc...] -Advanced Linear Algebra I [AL1, dual spaces, multilinear forms, groups, rings, fields, etc...] -Advanced Linear Algebra II [Gram-Schmidt, Orthogonality, Sylvester, SVD, QR, MSA, Jordan, SEDL, Hermite, Smith] -Algebraic structures [Basic logic, sets, equivalence relations, classes, quotients, groups, etc...] -Discrete mathematics [combinatorics, generating functions, basis of graph theory, probabilistic approach] Note: For more information regarding the contents of the topics, we can discuss. The courses are flexible. SIZE: The course can be given face-to-face in the Lausanne region (preferably Renens / Ecublens) or Geneva (preferably center) depending on my travel availability (this is to be agreed by message with me directly, this option only appears by default in my schedules available below). Otherwise, the course is generally given by Zoom with screen sharing where I generally write by hand). The notes during the course are sent to the student after the course is completed in PDF format. For more availability, please contact me. The courses are based on my experience (EPFL, mathematics section). Hoping to be able to help you.

Trusted teacher: I am Mara, Lic. in Economics and Agrarian Administration from the University of Buenos Aires, expert in algebra, mathematics and mathematical analysis classes. I have worked for more than 23 years developing a method so that you can learn and pass these subjects. Since 1999 I have prepared almost 5700 students. I help all students and professionals who need to learn, improve or refresh their knowledge of these subjects and can make the most of their time! SUBJECTS AND LEVELS Math. - Faculty (Fcea, Fmed, Social Sciences, Fing, ORT, UCU, Catolica, UM, UDE, UTEC, UTU, INET, Tecnologo, Bios, among others): Math. Mathematical analysis. Algebra. Calculation 1, Calculation 1A and 1B. For high school students, analysts, graduates, engineers or others from institutes. - Personalized classes that adapt to your needs and schedules. - Clear and practical explanations so that you thoroughly understand your subjects. - Effective study and problem-solving strategies. Online Classes. I also record them and send them to you so you can see it again. I prepare you to take regular, final and free exams from all majors and universities, public and/or private, as well as secondary schools. What are the online classes like? Classes are individual and via Google Meet, Skype, Zoom. I also teach online group classes. I also have recorded courses on all the topics I explain. What is the teaching method like? If necessary, I explain step by step the topics "from scratch" or the topics that you need to see and we will look at your specific doubts. On your screen you will see “a marker” and how I develop the content step by step while we talk. I write all the explanations by hand. You can have a notebook and pencil next to you and a calculator as well while taking the class. At the end of the class I send you all the “virtual sheets that we saw” by email and exercises to practice. Do I have to have any math software installed to take the class? No. You just have to have a computer or phone.

Trusted teacher: Good morning ! My name is Raphaël and I have been at EPFL for 5 years. Graduated with a Bachelor in Mathematics from EPFL, I am a specialist in academic assistance for mathematics and computer science. I have a lot of experience helping and supporting first-year university students, and I have numerous assistantships for the most demanding courses at EPFL (Analysis, Algebra, Geometry, Machine Learning, Analysis Digital etc.). I have accompanied many students during the course and I know the challenges encountered by the students. I carry out real work of reframing and monitoring the student, while ensuring an atmosphere encouraging the student's personal progress. I am currently at Harvard finalizing my Master's thesis, and looking to assist students in Switzerland. My experience : - 9 assistantships for EPFL courses from 1st Year to Master level (Analysis, Algebra, Geometry, Numerical Analysis, Programming, Machine Learning, MAN, etc.). - EPFL assistant training certification. - Experience as a Mentor for 1st Year students (learning monitoring). - Correction and assistance with writing projects and exams for the Machine Learning Master course at EPFL. - Several years of experience in python and C++. My curriculum : - Bachelor in Mathematics from EPFL (5.01/6) - Bachelor thesis (6/6) - Master in Data Science from EPFL (5.4/6) - Master's thesis at Harvard (in progress!) I am very flexible on working conditions and locations, but here are some examples of private lessons: - Online availability on Zoom, I have a tablet and a pen for optimal working conditions. - Directly on the EPFL campus to save you additional transport. - Possibility of working in groups with your friends with different prices. Students of all levels are welcome and of course my help will be adapted according to the needs and objectives of the student. Whether it is for a one-day private lesson to resolve a few problems, or monitoring and support during the semester, I will endeavor to offer the best assistance to the student.
