Trusted teacher: Hello, I am a mathematics masters student specializing in algebra, geometry and number theory. I have graduated from the university of Groningen with a bachelor in mathematics. As such, I've spent a great deal of time studying mathematics at a higher level and have become acquainted with a broad range of mathematical disciplines such as algebra, geometry, analysis, calculus, probability, optimization and more, this of-course includes any high school mathematics. During my studies I working as a teaching assistant whenever possible so I have some experience teaching. In mathematics there are often many ways to come to the same conclusion and it varies from person to person what they consider easiest to understand. As such I try to get to know the student first and figure out how they may learn best. Personally, I rely a lot on intuition and deep understanding of concepts and so i try to convey to students the most essential and fundamental ideas before moving on, as well as, giving them interpretations of what is happening so that they may becomes easier to imagine and more tangible. In solving any problem, I think it is important to first sit back and understand what is going on before embarking on any calculation or proofs. In a typical class I would first survey what the student already knows and discuss the concepts with them making sure they understand them very well then we would move on to discussing examples and non-examples (this would take most of the class). Finally we would solve problems together discussing them as we go along. This of course can vary from student to student, their level and time available.

Trusted teacher: I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mathematics (specialization: financial mathematics) from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland*. Following that, I gained over 3 years of experience as a data analyst in the financial and actuarial fields. Despite my corporate job, my passion for theoretical mathematics never faded, leading me to offer tutoring services after work. These new challenges helped me realize that I am destined for something else. Therefore, I didn’t hesitate to seize the opportunity to move to Sweden with my family in 2021. Since then, I have focused mostly on learning Swedish, exploring cultural peculiarities during my job at the post office, and occasionally giving math lessons as a private tutor online. I have completed several national courses in Swedish, with the latest being SVA 1, corresponding to level B2 (CEFR). Although I have never stopped working on improving my Swedish. More importantly, I have decided to follow my dreams and dedicate myself full-time to teaching math, becoming a self-employed private tutor in mathematics. Teaching math has been my passion since my Master's studies and, despite having a full-time job, it remained my spare time activity. Over these 8 years, I have gained experience in tutoring different kinds of students from primary school up to the master’s level. I strongly believe that anyone can become proficient in mathematics. I mostly like to work with people who struggle with math since such challenges inspire me to find distinctive ways of explaining mathematical concepts. Moreover, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the progress of demanding students. In my tutoring experience, I have helped those falling behind in class and aided in exam preparation (e.g., Polish matura exam basic/advanced, Swedish högskoleprovet, mathematics exams during engineering/economy studies). Another form of my services is to provide solutions to specific sets of tasks with corresponding explanations of the material and issues. I offer regular classes as well as intensive short courses or one-off meetings, depending on what suits the students' needs best. I teach in English and Polish but can give it a try in Swedish as well (can speak Swedish but haven’t taught in Swedish as of now). Lessons are possible at my location, the student’s location, or online. Together, we can make the change! *All of the following are approved by The Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR), and related documents can be provided for review if required.

Trusted teacher: I have a Doctorate degree in Mathematics. Maths is a wonderful subject, which one needs in all spheres. It is the basic of all subjects. A few applications are defined below: Trigonometry: Calculus is related with trigonometry and algebra. The fundamental trigonometric functions like sine and cosine are used to define the sound and light waves.Trigonometry is further used in oceanography to measure the heights of waves and tides in oceans. It is used in satellite systems, and to create maps. The famous Pythagoras' Theorem finds its' application in determining how tall a ladder needs to be in order to safely place the base away from the wall so it does not turn over. Probability and Statistics: Probability problems infer conclusions about characteristics of hypothetical data taken from the population. Probability explains the mathematical chance that something might happen, and is used in numerous day- to-day applications. Calculus : We can find the (or global) minimum and maximum values of a function as well as the relative (or local) minimum and maximum values of a function. Differential Equation: Differential equations are applied to predict the world around us, and used in a wide variety of disciplines, from biology, economics, physics, chemistry and engineering. It has applications in exponential growth and decay model, Newton's law of cooling, and Circuit theory, e.t.c. I have teaching experience for more than 15 years. My students are from all corners of the globe, and of all ages. I also make them learn Mathematics in English, so that they can excel in future. I am well acquainted will all the topics of mathematics, at all levels from schools to colleges. Children like my style of teaching.

Italian classes by an Italian mothertongue! Online or in person in Milan! (Paderno Dugnano)
Mihaela
On a tight timeline, Mihaela was able to make time to meet with me in person for an hour lesson to introduce me to Italian. For the introductory lesson, I felt it covered a good amount of ground (and she even provided a document of everything we covered and more via email)! She explained hard and soft pronunciation between G + C and pronunciation of vowels. She prepared exercises to help me introduce myself to others. Mihaela even explained some of the historical background of the location we met at, Sforzesco Castle. After our lesson, she also gave me recommendations of places to visit in Milan. In short, Mihaela was thorough, patient, courteous, and communicative! I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Safiqul
My son really enjoyed his first lesson with Safiqul. He told me that his brain felt 'super good' after the lesson. Just what my son needed - some challenge, kindness and patience. This is what Safiqul provided my son for his maths class. Thank very much and we hope to learn from you again very soon!
