I am an actor and a musician. I have worked professionally as an actor. Last year I went on a national tour in a one man musical comedy that toured around the country for six months. I have been in a variety of other projects including an immersive, choose your own adventure show as well as an award winning production that after a five star run at Edinburgh Fringe, had a London transfer and will be going on a national tour. I trained at the prestigious East 15 Acting School, where I received a in depth, vocational training and now have experience in a variety of acting styles and forms. This includes voice, movement, improvisation, analysing text, monologue work, classical text, actor-musicianship, mask work and many more skills that I can share and educate others with. I am also a musician and a singer. I have been singing for most of my life as well as playing guitar. I have also composed music for shows which includes original musicals and gig theatre shows. I am skilled and practiced in guitar playing and a knowledge in music theory. I am also a strong and experienced singer. As well as having professional singing training in a variety of forms I am also a part of Roundhouse Choir and we have most recently performed on Jools Holland, BBC 6 Music Festival and the renown Roundhouse stage. As well as these skills I am a practiced and experienced teacher in these fields. I currently teach drama and music to children as a freelancer. I understand the importance of drama and music for young people due to my extensive experience working with children. As well as teaching at nurseries and schools, I am a party leader and entertainer for children’s birthdays, which will include entertaining up to 30 children with a whole variety of games, songs and dances. I have also had experience working at the immersive family experience that is Lapland UK, as well as In The Night Garden Live and been an activity leader for Language Schools.

Trusted teacher: Hi! :) I'm a Portuguese Singer-Actress and Vocal Coach currently based in Copenhagen. I have a BA in Musical Theatre by the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, awarded by the Liverpool John Moores University (UK). I am certified as a Vocal Health First Aider by The Vocal Health Education (UK) and also completed their course in Teaching Inclusively to learn more about inclusivity when working as a singing teacher with persons with special needs and disabilities. I believe everyone should feel welcomed to do what they love in a safe, respectful, personalized and happy environment. Adaptability is key in my practice! And I'm also trained in Conscious Singing with Fernanda Lopes (Brazil), focused on Vocal Science and Anatomy and how it can be applied to the singing voice with clear and safe strategies for Vocal Pedagogy and Performance. Some of the things will be working on are: * Breath control * Posture * Vocal Registers * Vocal Styles * Develop a conscious practice and healthy voice * Interpretation * Warm-ups and Cool Downs * Vocal Conditioning * Repertoire * Tips for Live Performance * And so much more! I teach CONTEMPORARY SINGING (Pop Music, Jazz, Indie, Bossa Nova, etc.) as well as MUSICAL THEATRE (covering topics such as Belting, Acting Through Song, Audition Preparation and Audition Technique). You are encourage to sing what you enjoy singing, at your own pace. We will work together to be as creative as possible, keeping/discovering you own individuality and what makes you unique. Schedules are flexible and negotiable. Send me a message and let's talk about music and voice and sing your favorite songs! :)

Dance to Smile with Reena: Bhangra, Bollywood, Contemporary (Knoxville)
Dr. Reena
I love my Bhangra classes with Reena. It is such a joyful and fulfilling learning experience. I first start learning Bhangra with Reena in Taiwan, and while at the beginning I could use the Bhangra steps to only exercise on the Bhangra music, under her dedicated guidance, afford and tailored feedback I was able to have speedy progress and join group performances. She is passionate about dancing and choreography, and teaching dance comes so natural to her. She is professional, enthusiastic, patient, and friendly and her energy is uplifting and motivating. She always tailors the lessons to the specific needs and capabilities to each individual, even sends post-lesson teaching videos. If you want to learn basic Bhangra steps or challenge yourself and advance to professional level Bhangra, or looking for a easy way to release stress and feel lighter and brighter, I highly recommend Reena as your guide. Thank you Reena and I am looking forward for the next class!!!
