Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Sabine! I'm a soprano, actor, and singing teacher educated in multiple styles. I hold a degree in Vocal Performance (Classical + Pop/rock) & Musicology, and finished my studies at Fontys AMPA (Opera). I have also trained as an actor (film & theatre) at the Mulholland Academy in Amsterdam. My lessons are entirely tailored to your personal wishes. We begin with a discussion about what you'd like to learn, and we work toward your own ideal voice and sound. We can choose classical, operatic, popular, or musical repertoire - or other styles that interest you. The focus is always on healthy, sustainable technique. You can also choose to work on different elements: we can focus only on singing technique, but also on performance or dramatic skills, song interpretation, audition preparation, your speaking voice, stage fright..all questions are welcome! Reasons to try out a lesson -You've always been curious about singing, but don't know where to start -You already sing for fun, but you want to take your voice to the next level -You want to prepare an audition (for conservatory, a role in a production, singing competition, choir, open mic..) -You suffer from stage fright or lack of confidence -You want to work on your theatrical skills -You're an actor who wants to improve their vocal technique -You want to strengthen your speaking voice -You're in a choir and want to improve your voice -You want to be able to sing convincingly in the English language (as a native speaker, I also offer English language and diction coaching for singing) -any other reason! Trusted teacher: Online | In Person (studio in central London) Having its foundation on the Stanislavski System and the Actioning Technique, these classes were designed to help you build a resourceful, more effective, and creative relationship with the script. The aim is to enable you to develop an insightful way of working with the script by creating an analytical eye to collect the information you need to build the character under the circumstances of the story. The work involves analysing and practicing different types of scripts, through in depth script analysis, script breakdown, scene structure, actioning, character study and development, active analysis and improvisation. The classes are offered in two different formats: ongoing and private. 1) ONGOING GROUP CLASSES: Mondays from 6pm to 7:30pm (ONLINE | London time) 2) PRIVATE SESSIONS – Online | In Person (London) The private sessions are personalised and designed for your own specific needs. My aim is to help you achieve your goals through collaborative working. I will guide, support and work with you throughout your journey offering mentoring and professional training through the sessions. a) Scene Study and Script Analysis: Having the same foundation as the ongoing classes, these private sessions will help you understand and connect with the script in a personal and insightful way to create a truthful and unique character. b) Mentoring for Actors: Starting out your career? Wanting to take your career to the next level? Thinking about moving agents? Not sure how to contact a Casting Director? Unsure of how to self-tape? These sessions will support and guide you through your acting career to help you navigate and move forward in the industry in whatever stage you are at. c) Audition Preparation: Private sessions designed to help you in your audition process, giving you the tools you need to be more confident when making decisions through your character’s point of view. d) Role Preparation: Acting coaching sessions designed for professional actors who are preparing for an acting job and need help developing the character and connecting with the script. e) Drama School Preparation: Prep sessions designed to help you through your journey when auditioning/applying for a drama school, BTEC ( performing arts), foundation in acting programme.

What is acting ? Acting does seem like a nebulous and abstract art form to many people, including many of its practicioners. Why do we sometimes get on stage and feel so alive, yet other times we try and replicate our idea of what great acting is, or a memory of how it once felt, and we cannot help but fall flat on our faces ? How do we reliably access our innermost expression within our performance and touch our audience in a meaningful way ? These are questions that an actor/performer should ask themselves every single day. And the truth is that the answer is ever-changing. There is no magic trick to enhancing the expression of our soul, but we certainly can continually learn to understand ourselves better, so that every time we perform, something miraculous and unexpected happens. Warning : I do not pretend to teach a fool-proof "method". My approach is the result of countless years of searching for truth, honesty and athenticity within performance and acting. Drama clubs, Acting drop ins, Conservatoires, Private coaching... You name it, I've done it. All have its perks but I have found that more tailored training is by far the most beneficial. I now want to start giving back and sharing all that I've been learning. Let us explore together the limitless capabilities of your self-expression. NB : This class is by no means a set answer to all of your worries and doubts. It is instead a range of questions that will ever keep you moving forward.
