Trusted teacher: Stefan was born in 1992 in Struga, Macedonia, and started playing the accordion at the age of 7. He studied accordion performance at the Music High School DMU "Todor Skalovski – Tetoec" from 2007 to 2011. He continued his accordion performance studies at the Academy of Music, Dance, and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, graduating in 2015. In addition to classical and variety music, he also studied Bulgarian folk music. Since September 2015, he has served as an accordion teacher at the Music High School. Throughout his education, he has had regular performances both as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles at various concerts, festivals, and competitions. He has also actively participated in judging panels at numerous competitions at the republic, national, and international levels. His students frequently perform at concerts and important events, achieving numerous accolades at both national and international accordion competitions. Stefan also leads his own band, which specializes in performing Balkan folk music, and has performed at numerous festivals and private parties. Teaching Style I am an experienced, friendly, and patient accordion teacher. Trusted teacher: Here is a little ad to help you take the plunge and learn the "piano with straps", "lung-shaker", "pushpin box", "shiver box" or sometimes even the "sorrow box" (but not with me, smiles guaranteed!), in short the accordion. My teaching method consists of offering the student several paths that will allow them to explore the instrument. I offer several approaches, including work on the quality of sound, touch, bellows, ease of playing and music. Also, I take a benevolent look at the health of the student since the instrument, by its size and weight, can hinder the musician. Learning this instrument requires assiduity and rigor, which is why I am committed to helping the student organize his work with the help, for example, of a schedule. Dialogue and listening between student and teacher are essential to progress in learning this superb instrument. ABOUT A second-year student at the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance, Selma is an accordionist. In 2018, she won first prize in the National Accordion Trophy in the under-16 category, and in 2021, first prize in the National Union of Accordionists of France competition in the Espoir category. For the 2024 season of the National Jazz Orchestra, she was selected to join the accordion section of the Youth Orchestra. His polyphonic instrument gives him access to a vast artistic universe, ranging from world music to classical music, including theater and singing. If his approaches to the stage are varied (opera, cabaret, concert, street show, chamber music, performance, film music, filming, etc.) they have allowed him to perform on stages such as the Arab World Institute, the Loire Festival, in several schools and theaters in Europe, or even on the sets of the Luc Besson film studios (for Daryl Dixon, spin-off of the series The Walking Dead).

Accordion Lessons For All Levels And Musical Styles (Olten)
Noel
Noel was awesome. He is a very talented young musician, his ways of explaining musical notes and how they aply to the Accordeon was coherent and easy to follow. I had no idea about Accordeons at all and I never played a musical instrument before. Noel was able within 5 hrs to give me a very basic but helpful insight into how to play the left and then the right hand. He also explained me the basic of reading and writting notes. I am very thankful for his help to learn the very basic of playing the Accordeon, and I would recommend him for anybody interested to learn to play the Accordeon. He is capable to teach any level and any age groups, from kids to seniors.

Stefan
So far my son has had just one lesson with Stefan, but he has already demonstrated an excellent demeanor, especially important for working with a child who is just beginning! He is very patient and encouraging thus far. Overall, he is a very good instructor for our situation! Update: My son has taken lessons from Stefan for about a year now and we could not be happier with him as an instructor! He is truly a great teacher for a child who is just getting started and well worth the cost!

Stefan
Enjoyed his class! He was very detailed in his teaching - particular about the posture and attention to detail in terms of the fingering and pacing, despite it being an online class. His class had very good pacing in his teaching and provide relevant teaching materials for beginner accordion students. He is also very responsive on Apprentus and accommodating to virtual lessons. Highly recommend!
