=> During our first interview, I offer you the time devoted to setting up the three-step methodology that we will put in place together.

1/ [you]: What are your needs? A question ; concepts that escape you; the scope of a philosophical or theological text (major or not) whose meaning seems obscure to you; the role of a particular philosopher or theologian in his historical context; its influence for us today; a stream of thought; an entire branch of philosophy that interests you, etc.

2/[me]: Depending on your needs, I will offer you a course plan split into several sessions. We will set up a schedule taking into account the deadline before which you would like to acquire all the knowledge you want. I prepare personalized lessons.

3/[me and you]: I give you these lessons with Power Point slides. At the end of each lesson, I give you the Power Point as well as a lesson summary that I will give you in detail orally. This will allow you to not focus on note taking and focus on the content studied. Any questions during the course are welcome!

=> From basic level (secondary) to university level (master)

With six years of teaching in secondary school and two in High School, I have developed an efficient study methodology according to the goal pursued and a pedagogy that has improved thanks to all the feedback I have been able to glean. so far.

I also make popular videos of philosophy and theology (Faith and Reason) on YouTube. The air of nothing, I perfected my art (and still continue to do so) thanks to the many constraints that I imposed on myself:

1/ Make highly speculative content understandable by the uninitiated.
2/ Giving a taste for these subjects by showing the relevance of the concepts they mobilize for issues that are still current or new.
3/ Make everything fit in a video of maximum 15 minutes, highlighting key quotes, talking images, etc.

In short, you will be entitled to a quality and aesthetic course :-)

It is true that the philosopher is the friend of wisdom, but above all, he is someone who does not want to make mistakes in reasoning. Philosophizing is a way of reasoning and a way of solving problems that will never have a perfect and definitive solution. Knowing the distance between the Earth and the Moon is not a problem of philosophy, because it is enough to measure to solve it. On the other hand, knowing, for example, what justice is, is a problem of philosophy. A meter will not be able to help us know the answer. We must go about it differently, and in the courses I offer, I will teach you how.

You will learn

- text reading strategies
- case studies with the aim of learning from experts
- methodology in philosophy
- writing an essay
- writing a text commentary
- a work on the philosophers of your choice
- an overview of the history of philosophy
- the general culture necessary to be able to philosophize

I will adapt to your individual needs. Each course is tailor-made. We will analyze where your difficulties lie and together develop a course program that will make you perform as quickly as possible. The basic principle of the courses I offer is dialectics, like Plato's dialogues: reflecting together, making theoretical contributions, asking questions and seeking answers, and testing the validity of reasoning.

For the past 10 years, I have been teaching German using the philosophy methodology, having studied philosophy at the Master's level at Aix-Marseille University. It turns out that the analytical mind is very useful even outside the confines of philosophy. Today, there are even fields of activity such as management with philosophy or philotherapy. In recent years, some German students have asked me to also teach them philosophy courses, and that is why I decided to offer philosophy courses directly.

I look forward to meeting you during a first lesson.

Discover the magic of the original Tarot of Marseille through a traditional, spiritual and playful approach! A teaching faithful to its Neoplatonic, Hermetic and Christian roots.

Although the Tarot of Marseille appeared in Italy at the end of the 15th century, it is now practiced and interpreted according to the late tradition of 19th-century occultists, which opposes the original philosophy of its creators, cutting the tarot off from its roots.

I propose that you go back in time and immerse yourself in the practice of tarot from the early centuries through teaching that is both theoretical and practical.

With me, you don't just learn to interpret cards according to the original Western tradition, you experience the spiritual power of each card so that the tarot becomes a true compass for your soul, in the manner of our ancestors.

If the Tarot of Marseille seems obscure to newcomers, it's because we are often unfamiliar with the Neoplatonic, Hermetic, Christian, and Kabbalistic myths and symbols hidden behind each card. To benefit from a quality learning experience, it's not necessary to memorize endless lists of definitions; simply understanding the story, myth, or philosophical/theological concept associated with each card is enough to grasp its full essence and complexity.

My courses are structured around two main axes:

I) INTERPRETATION: MYTHS, CONTEXTS AND SYMBOLS

To grasp the true essence of the Tarot of Marseille, it is essential to understand it not with our modern perspective but with the eyes of a 15th-century European.
Therefore, the student will begin by familiarizing themselves with the cultural, philosophical and religious context specific to 15th century Italy, then they will discover the myths, stories, symbols and teachings specific to each major arcana.

II) SPIRITUAL EXPERIMENTATION

The Tarot of Marseille was initially conceived as a teaching aid but also as a tool allowing the soul to experience the Divine by illuminating the path that leads to the source of Life. To fully grasp the Tarot of Marseille, it is necessary to experience the spiritual power of each card through meditation exercises, prayers, and mystical experiences.

After each lesson, you receive a PDF summary so you can then put it into practice without forgetting anything!

Philosophy is one of the most rewarding subjects a student can study, and one of the most demanding. I tutor philosophy and ethics at A-Level (AQA and OCR), IB Diploma, and undergraduate level, working with students from confident philosophers preparing for top university applications to beginners encountering rigorous philosophical thinking for the first time.

Sessions are tailored to each student. With exam-track students I focus on essay structure, argument construction, careful textual analysis, and the specific demands of the syllabus. With students preparing for Oxbridge applications and interviews, I work on intellectual flexibility, handling unfamiliar questions under pressure, and developing the rigorous reasoning admissions tutors look for. With students new to philosophy, I focus on foundational skills: clear definitions, careful reading, structured argument, and precise writing.

Subjects I cover include epistemology, metaphysics, ethics, philosophy of religion, political philosophy, moral and applied philosophy, and Islamic intellectual tradition. I also supervise IB Theory of Knowledge essays and presentations, and IB Extended Essays in philosophy, world religions, history, and English.
My background: BA (Honours) in Philosophy and Master of Teaching (Secondary) from the University of Melbourne, ranked #1 in Australia and #16 globally for Education in the QS World University Rankings 2025. Master of Arts in Applied Islamic Ethics from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, with the Best Thesis Prize for the programme and Dean's Honours List, and a forthcoming publication invited by the Journal of Islamic Ethics. Currently preparing a doctoral application to the University of Oxford. Thirteen years of teaching and curriculum design experience, including as the lead teacher at Australia's largest pre-medical education provider, where I built the humanities curriculum for GAMSAT preparation.

I work patiently and with genuine intellectual investment, and I believe a tutor's role is to develop the student's independent learning capacity rather than to substitute for it.
