About Me

I was born in Toledo a few years ago and, thanks to the clarinet, was able to play with national and international groups after living in Switzerland for six years and in Japan for three. Through my travels around the world, I not only learned music and how to play the clarinet, but also languages, cultures, organization, and above all, food!

Education

I received my Superior Clarinet Degree with distinction from the RCSMM in Madrid and later specialized in Orchestral and Soloist Studies at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where I was also able to further develop my skills in bass clarinet. Some of the teachers I have had the privilege of working with include Yehuda Gilad, Inn-Hyuck Cho (Metropolitan Orchestra in New York), Fabio di Càsola, Vicente Alberola, Andreas Sundén, Mark Nuccio, Philippe Berrod, and Felix Andreas-Genner (Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich).

In addition to my experience teaching students of all ages and several nationalities, I have a Master's degree in Teacher Education from the Complutense University of Madrid.

Experience / Qualifications

I have played in professional groups such as the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra (Japan), the Kanazawa Ensemble (Japan), the Zurich Opera Orchestra, the Musikkollegium Winterthur (Switzerland), the Accademia de La Scala Orchestra in Milan (Italy), the Coda Quintet, and the Navarra Symphony Orchestra.
