As a native English speaking American, I aim to improve my student's breadth of grammar and understanding of the English language through one-on-one and group lessons, advancing from any level. Having spent all my life in the United States, I also can train my students on the American vernacular and culture. I have a minor in English Literature from a college in Chicago.

Apart from general English language learning, this type of classes will focus more on English business vocabulary, business writing, business conversation and listening comprehension. This class would be suitable for people who plan (or already do) to study business/economics, want to enhance business skills for the business trips/clients, want to communicate and network effectively with international people in English. For this class I will use several books as materials (popular editions) dedicated to Business English growth. I will involve much conversational practice and discussion activities of specific topics. The material (books, texts, exercises) will be shared with a student. All the classes and preparation for them will be adapted to each student individually. Economics classes for University level students will be based on student's needs (some suggestions: Econometrics, Microeconomics, Quantitative Economics). For school students, it can involve advanced learning or basic Economic knowledge (aligned to student's needs). English classes will involve writing and speaking practice (based on the student's existing knowledge). I tend to explain things pretty well. I always try to assign homework for further practice. Times can be discussed with me and I do accommodate students based on mutual availability.

Nederlands voor kinderen Dutch for kids at beginning level. Mostly focused on the expat families to help their kids get into the language. As a pre-school and/or early phase lessons to teach the basics of the language, as well as practical dialogues.

Want to Learn English from a native speaker? I will be offering tutoring exclusively through English. The structure of the class will have a focus on spoken communication on a 1 vs 1 basis. English can be a hard language to learn so I intend to keep the class light and easy to follow. Notes will be provided on vocabulary and grammar to establish a basis of knowledge and focus will be given on how to pronounce words in the given context. Also, I will give feedback on how to structure your written sentences. The class can take place wherever is convenient. Depending on your level of understanding, I can tailor the class to your fluency. I am an American living in Leuven, Belgium. I used to be a cheerleader back home in Louisiana, and have always worked with children. I have a master's and bachelor's degree in history and am currently completing a second master's in social and cultural anthropology. Teaching is one of my passions and I would love to be able to share that while living here.

I offer diverse and dynamic activities where I prioritize the participation of the student and the conversation between us. Being a native I can offer you the most concrete learning of verbiage in Spanish or Catalan and work on phonetics. I also offer English classes since I have the C1 English certificate (Cambridge School) and I have been in an English academy (Fun English School) during a course teaching English to children between 3 and 18 years old.

I am a Research Master’s student in Philosophy at the KU Leuven from Toronto Canada. My native language is English and I also have background knowledge of French, however, I don’t speak it well. I teach private English lessons in the Brussels and Leuven area. I have experience working with adults and children of all ages and backgrounds. My academic career has provided me with a high level of proficiency in English, including an understanding of language structure, syntax and grammar. I believe that language is a powerful tool today. Not only does it help us understand the world from a different perspective, but it also teaches us the culture of the people who use it. I have had the opportunity to work with teenagers for 5 years now as a student associate in a science center, as a mentor and a lecturer in a different field. What I have learned from that experience is that first and foremost one must become a friend with their student, to understand their needs and their attitudes. I will do my best to make the classes fun by combining audio and visual material in my teaching. My field of study is Social and Cultural Anthropology.
