Having completed 12 years of studies in Piano and Music Theory, as well as courses in Musical Training and Sight-Reading, I want to introduce this extraordinary instrument to both beginners and advanced students with the same passion that my teachers (including Sodi Braide, who studied at the Paris National Conservatory of Music (CNSM), and Stéphanie Aubert) used to bring me to my current level—performing in major concerts and competitions with first prize at the CMG. As a mechanical engineering student at EPFL, I can adapt the lessons in a fun yet rigorous way, to captivate young beginners. The viola has been my instrument since I was little. Graduated in musical education from the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva, I now teach in primary schools with the aim of transmitting this passion. I am a young experienced and enthusiastic cello teacher. In the past few years, I have been teaching in the UK at the Royal College of Music Junior Department in London, in primary schools, and privately. I am new to Geneva and I have just started my new teaching job at Ecolint, International School of Geneva. I teach children age 5-10, teenagers and adults. My teaching approach is to give the passion for music while building technical abilities and confidence. Discipline is important, and so is fun ! In the past, I have created cello ensembles for young children and I hope to be able to develop the same teaching outfit in Geneva as I had in London. I can teach in English or in French, the ABC system or the Do-Re-Mi system, and work towards various goals including ABRSM exams, concerts, etc. I am fluent in English as I was in London for over 10 years and French is my native language. Violinist with a Masters in Pedagogy and a Masters in Concert. I have been teaching for many years in various schools, notably the Ecole Artistique Jacot as well as the Notre-Dame du Lac Institute in Geneva. I also play regularly with the Nexus orchestra and the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, where I am an additional musician. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth.
