I study the horn at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and I offer music theory/musical training lessons for all ages from 7 years old, for levels ranging from beginner to first year of conservatory. I am now a psychology student at UGent, and I also play the cello.

I teach clarinet while adapting to the learner's abilities, child or adult. I like to work on different aspects of music at the same time : learning the instrument, learning melodies by ear, note reading and music theory, improvisation. I'm a multi-instrumentalist and while I started with classical music, I now play mostly in pop, folk and swing projects. I invite students to discover music through it's many possibilities and develop their own creativity, whatever their level of ability.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. My name is Luka. I have been working as a teacher for 12 years. Graduated from the Vienna Conservatory in piano. I teach children and students of secondary and higher musical institutions. One of the most wonderfull string instrument is the cello. If you want to learn how to play cello or just to continue improving your skills do not hesitate to contact me. I have a lot of experience teaching cello and for me, the most important thing in my lessons is learn well and enjoy. Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.

Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument. What is important to me in class? Students and teachers should meet at eye level. It's important to me to create an atmosphere in which both feel comfortable and no one feels forced to do anything. Where do I come from musically? It has always been important to me to exploit all the possibilities that my instrument can offer. To be honest, I'm not finished yet, the cello has so many facets to discover! I've tried many different styles. I am currently studying a master's degree in contemporary music at the Basel University of Music. I completed my bachelor's degree in education in Freiburg. This gives me a good basis for teaching the instrument in a playful way and for eliciting creativity from the students. Can you also find me on stage? Yes, mostly with my indie-pop band. We write our own songs, and I'm usually responsible for a good bassline :) But also with Percaso String Quartet, with whom we only play string quartet works by women. Or in Ensemble IPSO, a music theater project in which we try to blend the boundaries between music, theater and dance. And always with solo performances at vernissages. The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing!
