Lessons consist of: • Looking at a few example questions to gauge the level of understanding the student has of the topic. • Going through the content of the topic, going through any derivations and key ideas, so that the student develops an intuition for the topic, instead of just memorisation. • Trying a few practice questions, with my guidance if the student gets stuck, where I give the student prompts so the student can come up with a line of reasoning for themselves so that it is repeatable. • Finishing off with a timed exam question to prepare for the real thing. Experience: • Tutored a couple of primary school children on a weekly basis covering a range of topics at the key stage 2 level, mostly improving and furthering their knowledge of what they were being currently taught in school. • Briefly tutored a few friends of mine at GCSE level. • Conducted a mock interview for a friend who was applying to study maths at Cambridge. Target audience of Lessons: • Anywhere from A-Level further maths down to primary school level.

Political Theories mainly explore the theories around political structures that make up different societies. Introduction to Political Theories, as the name suggests provides students with explanations and insights into these seemingly overwhelming political theories, enabling one to understand their intricacies and evolution. These classes will prove to be of much use for someone who is just starting a bachelor's degree in political science. Also, students who are interested in International Relations might find these classes useful due to the context of the course being wholly international. The theories can get complicated quickly real soon and these classes will serve the purpose of getting the concepts cleared thoroughly. The classes will cover the following topics: Liberalism and its various forms Socialism and its variants Communism and its developments Feminism and its evolution Understanding the role of theories in historical and contemporary geopolitical conflicts The Liberalism and Communism debates Addressing the Glass Ceiling in Feminism The resources will be provided by me and shall be plenty. Being a scholar myself, there won't be any shortage of subject material to study and understand. Moreover, the classes can be modified to a reasonable extent in accordance with the student's syllabus or requirements. In a world where everyone's political opinions are getting quickly inflated and highlighted through social media, they can also affect mental health to some extent. Then, the only solution that remains is to understand the theories better. All of these billions of opinions are merely versions of the developments of a handful of these political theories. Owing to the nature of the classes they may also be useful for people who are curious about topics such as economics, political science, and history.

GCSEs are vital to one's success, but getting those results is a difficult process, especially considering the recent pandemic. This class aims to cover weak points in students learning and teaching effective revision techniques, while also providing adequate exam practice and teaching content that may not have been covered in enough depth.

Maths is an important subject and we tend to use maths in our everyday life, but most importantly Maths is a vital subject in school, and we all want good grades, right? Well, you have found yourself a reliable Maths tutor who will ensure you get the grades you deserve and want. Throughout school, I have constantly been privileged to help out students at both GCSE, KS3 and primary school level to achieve their desired grades. Allowing students to maintain a confident approach when dealing with questions and scenarios is amazing. I have experience in helping students aged 7-16, where I’ve always ensured that students are left satisfied at the end of every session. I have volunteered throughout school to support students in maths during my free time to ensure that they were confident when it came to exams or mocks. The feeling of providing the children with trust and confidence in themselves is just so great. I`ve successfully tutored, where students walked into exams with full understanding, resulting in them receiving the grades that they wanted and deserved. This has inspired me to make this the case for many others. My main aim is to ensure that all students feel comfortable when dealing with problems and feeling confident when undertaking exams or walking into their next class. I want to make Maths easy to ensure that all students can grasp the different fundamentals and concepts in Maths so that they can reach their full potential. I have an enhanced DBS.

Mathematics is the science and study of quality, structure, space, and change. ... Through abstraction and logical reasoning mathematics evolved from counting, calculation, measurement, and the systematic study of the shapes and motions of physical objects. You will learn anything that seems to confuse you.

Whether you want to sing for fun, be coached through the ABRSM graded singing exams, or brush up your understanding of music through theory lessons, don't hesitate to get in touch. Singing Ethos: My belief is that everyone can learn to sing when taught properly and holistically and can experience the joy of discovering the unique qualities of their individual voice. This is a joy which I share with my students and why I find teaching so rewarding. My experience is predominantly (but not exclusively) with children and I love to watch as their love for their voice grows. What you can expect: I believe it is important to teach with an emphasis on technique and vocal health, so from the first few lessons students learn about the body and the way the voice works. I address this through exercises and breathing techniques as well as songs appropriate to age and stage; (usually based around the appropriate ABRSM Grades). I strive to create a fun, nurturing environment where learning and confidence can be optimised. I currently study with Sophie Grimmer, a highly respected and accomplished vocal teacher based in London who has performed at venues across Europe and London such as ENO. Therefore everything I teach my own students is informed by the world class tuition I am lucky enough to receive, (but of course adjusted so that it is age appropriate). This ensures that the tuition I give is always current and reflects the ever evolving industry standards for vocal tuition. I look forward to hearing from you! (Please don't be put off if below availability doesn't work, as this can be negotiated).

In the singing lesson we look at breathing, vocal technique, language, expression and interpretation. I take much pleasure in watching a student grow and facilitating their development and helping them on their own path. The most important thing to me is that they enjoy using their voice and telling a story through music. I have recently graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a Master of Music degree with distinction. Through the developing of my private practice, I am becoming increasingly interested and deeply passionate about teaching singing and singing pedagogy. For me, music – and especially singing – is all about communication, between performer and audience, between composer and performer/audience, between teacher and student; it is about conveying a story and human emotions that people can relate to and that give us a sense of connection and belonging. This requires not only a deep understanding of technical skills, but also a sensitivity to the text and the way it is set into music, both melodically and harmonically.

The recorder is more than a squealing school instrument, it has a long history, has a beautiful tone and is an excellent gateway instrument if you want to learn other wind instruments. It teaches you finger control, breath control and how to read music without worrying about extra keys, reaching for notes if you have small hands or holding a heavy instrument. I have a Post Graduate Diploma from the Royal College of Music on the recorder having studied it as my main instrument for six years. I have taught recorder both privately, in group lessons and as a whole class curriculum music instrument. With my holistic approach, I make learning enjoyable whilst inspiring pupils to try different styles of music from the Blues to Classical. I can teach using the grade system with either examination body or I can teach for the enjoyment of a pupil learning music. I have a 100% pass rate on exams and have organised school concerts, performances at school fairs and small performances to children's classes or teachers. Alongside my main instrument, I teach beginner flute and clarinet.
