Trusted teacher: If you want to learn how to play the piano or to improve your skills in a successful, creative and motivational way this is your place! My aim is to guide you and help you to achieve your goals, the same way I have helped a lot of students or beginners before. No matter if you want to start now, if you already know a bit about music or if you already study music and you want to improve your piano skills even more. We will focus on learning in the most efficient way at the same time we enjoy. My main characteristic is that I can adapt to your needs. I can always adjust my method to your personality or wishes so that you can learn and enjoy as much as possible. Also, the duration of the lesson will be adapted to you and we will combine more practical or theoretical content depending on what you want or need to learn. There is also the possibility to have both individual and group lessons. In the lessons, we can speak in English, Dutch or in Spanish. ABOUT ME: My name is Ana and I am a 25-year-old pianist, graduated from her master's degree in ArtEZ University of the Arts in Zwolle. I come from Spain, but I live and work in The Netherlands. I studied for my piano bachelor's in Spain and finish with the highest marks. Also, I have experience as a performer and I have won some prizes in national and international competitions. Apart from my piano career, I also have a lot of pedagogical training and experience teaching, both individual and group lessons. I can teach people of all ages and all levels. If you are interested in learning and enjoying music and piano, don't hesitate and contact me!

Trusted teacher: As a professional classical violinist, I offer violin lessons to both children and adults in the Zwolle area. I have a master's degree from the Rotterdam Conservatory and have more than 10 years of teaching experience. Please feel free to contact me for more information or to make an appointment for a trial lesson. TRIAL LESSON To know whether a student is eligible (physically, musically and mentally) for violin lessons, an appointment will always be made for a trial lesson first. During the trial lesson I will get to know the student, I will carry out a number of tests (motor and musical), I will check the violin for quality, size (if it concerns children) and completeness, and if the previous matters are in order, I will and then give a trial lesson. If you have any questions about the lesson conditions, I will also answer them. A trial lesson is always free! LESSONS PLANNING Although the lesson time is in principle always agreed upon each time, it is preferable that the lesson is held on the same day and time every week. If it concerns a novice student, this is even essential. The reason is that a lot is involved in establishing a good basic violin technique and a good basic technique is essential to continue to progress in the long term. In this phase, a teacher must be able to intervene in a timely manner if things go off the rails. Because a basic learned incorrectly is very difficult to unlearn. The regularity of the lessons is important to provide the student with sufficient time to process what has been learned. Only for the more advanced student, lessons can also be given every other week. CLASS LOCATION The lessons take place at my home in Heino or at the student's home. CLASS DURATION A lesson lasts 60 minutes. READING NOTES Whether or not you can read music is still unimportant in the initial phase. In fact, the first lessons will not cover notes at all. This is because it is very important to learn to make music with the ears and from empathy. Of course, being able to read music from a certain level is indispensable, but if you start doing that right away, the emphasis is too much on the visual and that is not good. After all, the notes emerged from the music, and not the other way around. TEACHING MATERIALS As long as the level is such that notes do not play a role, the student's memory and the notebook will be the only teaching material. When the student is ready for notation, he or she will switch to simple textbook methods in which both reading notes and melodies are literally taught through play. As the level progresses, the material will become increasingly difficult and the books will be adjusted accordingly. We will soon move on to duets in which the student plays together with the teacher. This is not only fun to do, but also forces the student to listen extra carefully / use their ears. Just like the violin, the teaching materials must be purchased yourself, although photocopies may also suffice in the initial phase. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Trusted teacher: (Important! The schedules are now closing with the students I already have, so it is difficult to specify a definitive schedule for September) Hello! I have been teaching classes continuously for more than 10 years and I would like to explain what you can find in a class with me! - To begin with, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need. For example, we will not put the same level of demand if you want to play for pleasure at home without haste or if you want to do some entrance exams to musical studies (although always with the same good rigor). The needs of each student can vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, the postural work, the repertoire... - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed is not equal to undemanding or rigorous, just that we will try not to resort to military methods, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to note is that my methods are very dynamic and with special emphasis on the development of the ear and musicality. No reading, spitting and changing songs. I try to avoid methods that focus too much on the continuous reading of scores without memorizing, listening or understanding what is being done and why, especially so that later you can make your own aesthetic decisions and feel ownership of your performance. Alert! Maybe I'll even make you sing. - Last but not least, it should be noted that given my training (I studied classical music and modern music and jazz at the Taller de Músics) my tendency will be to give the same importance to different types of music. We will adapt to your tastes and needs, but for me we can go from baroque to blues, from blues to Haydn's sonatas, from Haydn to bebop and from bebop to Michael Jackson. Why not? If you like what you have read, do not hesitate to contact me. Learning to play the cello is a pleasure and I would love to share it with you!

Trusted teacher: With over 8 years of experience as a Solfege, Oriental Solfege, Oud, and Oriental singing teacher, I am a Lebanese musician currently residing in Mönchengladbach, Germany. I honed my skills for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. Prior to my relocation, I taught at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also held private music lessons. As a concertmaster, I performed with the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for over 5 years. My move to Germany was motivated by my pursuit of graduate studies at the University of Kamp-Lintfort. Fluent in English, Couramment en français, ولغتي الأم هي اللغة العربية. Aber leider spreche Ich ein bisschen Deutsch. Solfege, the foundation of music theory, is an essential tool for any musician who wishes to understand and create music. It provides a way to identify and communicate notes, intervals, and rhythms, and it is the key to developing musical literacy. In this class, you will delve into the world of scales, exploring the unique characteristics of Western and Oriental scales. We will study the following scales: Rast, Bayet, Siga, Kord, Hijaz, Ajam, Nahawand- Major & Minor Scales. In addition to these Western and Oriental scales, we will also introduce you to the quarter note, which is not traditionally found in Western music. It is a quarter note with a unique and distinct sound. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, this class will provide you with the knowledge you need to use scales effectively for improvisation, singing, and playing any instrument. With this knowledge, you will be able to: * Read and write music (dictation) in solfège notation for both Western and Oriental scales. * Identify and communicate notes accurately in the context of various musical traditions. * Develop a deeper understanding of music theory and rhythmic concepts. * Infuse your musical performances with a broader range of expressive possibilities. We will use the book "المقامات الشرقية by Georges Farah" as the main reference for our study of Oriental solfège. This book is considered the best book in the Middle East to teach Oriental Solfège. Discover the power of solfège to enhance your musical skills and open up a world of new possibilities!

David is an amazing teacher! He has very well thought out teaching style, focused on improving my technique, and providing clear and practical guidance. I really appreciated his willingness to tailor the lessons to my personal interests and goals. I also asked lots of questions about music theory and music production and he knew it all! María-José
I have taken 3 lessons with María José and I very satisfied for the moment. She’s very well-prepared, punctual, and she’s a great guitar player. Her lessons are very well-structured and she really knows a lot about music. I would highly recommend her to those who not only want to learn how to play the classical guitar, but who are also interested in learning about music.
