A graduate of the Sorbonne University, with various experiences as a language and general culture teacher for both school and adult audiences; I would be keen to put my experience and skills at your service, or that of your child.

I've been teaching French to foreign students this past year. I give French classes to students from all levels. About Me Born in London to French and American parents, I grew up between the three countries and now live in Barcelona. In addition to teaching, I also run my own business as a football agent. I taught high school math for multiple years in East LA with the program Teach for America that places top university graduates in under served neighbourhoods. As I lived in the UK for many years and have taught many British students, I am also intimately familiar with the UK curriculum. Furthermore, I have tutored students studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum for many years. Lastly, I have a TEFL credential, which has allowed me to teach English to dozens of students.

Having attended the Calandreta primary, nursery, and secondary school (an immersive Occitan-language program based on Freinet and Montessori pedagogies), I grew up in a multilingual environment and developed a natural aptitude for learning and sharing the languages I speak (French, English, Spanish, and Occitan). I offer tailored lessons for children, adapted to their level and age. For younger children, I focus primarily on conversation in their target language, as well as games and reading in the language they are learning. For older children, I also offer homework help or support with their textbooks. I strive to teach languages using the same pedagogies that allowed me to become multilingual from a very young age. I taught English to my 15-year-old little sister, who now has a B2 level and is currently being certified (Cambridge).
