Maths class is an essential component of a well-rounded education, providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to solve complex problems, think critically, and analyse data. In this class, students explore various mathematical concepts, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus, depending on their grade level and curriculum. The primary goal of a mathematics class is to develop students' mathematical proficiency, which includes problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, and mathematical communication. Students are encouraged to apply mathematical concepts to real-life situations, fostering a deeper understanding of how mathematics is relevant and applicable in everyday life. Mathematics classes typically involve a combination of lessons, discussions, and hands-on activities. Students are often required to complete assignments, homework, and projects to reinforce their understanding of the material. English Class: English class is designed to enhance students' language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. It focuses on developing students' ability to effectively communicate, comprehend, and analyse various forms of written and spoken language. In an English class, students engage in a wide range of activities to improve their language proficiency. These activities may include reading and analysing literature, writing essays and creative pieces, participating in discussions and debates, and delivering presentations. Grammar, vocabulary, and language conventions are also taught to ensure students have a strong foundation in English language usage. The objectives of an English class extend beyond language skills. It aims to foster critical thinking, cultural awareness, and empathy through the exploration of diverse texts and perspectives. English classes often incorporate a variety of resources, such as textbooks, novels, short stories, poems, and multimedia materials.

English as a Foreign Language for Adults and Kids, all levelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

English as a Foreign Language for Adults and Kids, all levelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

A philologist with MPhil degree from Cambridge University and PhD from the Russian University of Humanities, I have been teaching Russian and English, as well as humanities, since the early 2000s, both offline (at the time it was the only way!) and online. Background in journalism and wide international experience I lived and worked in India and in the United States before moving to the UK have helped me to familiarize with different educational systems and taught me how to work with people of various backgrounds, cultures and interests. Working with both adults and children, I am always looking for ways to arouse students' interest in a subject and encourage them to ask questions. Each student has unique needs, so all my classes are tailored, and I am doing my best to make our joint learning adventure as exciting as possible. I am eternally grateful to my own school and university teachers, as well as to private tutors. Without them my dreams about Cambridge University, traveling the world and having all those experiences that I have now would remain only dreams. Every time when my students thank me for helping them to achieve their learning goals, I feel that my own teachers, many of whom are already not with us, are smiling. This is the best thing about this job.
