Employability skills is good to have, and employers find these attractive in their employees. The focus is to learn and master the skills needed for work and for the workplace. You’ll learn steps, techniques and strategies to enable you apply for jobs and to get a job. (This will include learning what makes and how to write good supporting statements, CVs and cover letters). I am a tenacious, fun loving and laid back mathematics teacher among members of staff. When I teach students I display high levels of intellect, a conscientious manner, a good sense of humour and give rewards not only sanctions. I enjoy using a diverse range of methods when I teach such as game based teaching, collaborative lessons, investigative approaches, connectionist teaching and topic based teaching whereby I relate maths to the everyday lives of students‘. A-Level Sociology is one of the hardest subjects to tackle at A-Level if you are not familiar with memorising an entire compilation of names and theories. I specialise in teaching Sociology and achieved an A* at A-Level with OCR Sociology. In spite of this, I can teach and adapt to other exam boards like AQA, and there is a demand for Sociology tutoring.
