My method is very simple, I start by teaching you the most common and most used words and expressions. Then slowly the formation of sentences, conjugation, grammar but also how to pronounce each word well and know their positions in the sentence. Thanks to my very simple and effective teaching methodology, the student can form sentences in Wolof very easily from our first lesson. Wolof is the most spoken language in Senegal, Gambia where it has been enriched with contributions from other dialects, Arabic and French, which remains the official language. I teach Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) in addition to Levantine and Gulf dialects. Which one should I choose? It depends on your needs. If you are solely interested in speaking, then I recommend Levantine or Gulf dialects. If you aim to master Arabic comprehensively, then Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) would be more suitable. What is the 30-hour program? The 30-hour program is designed to help you achieve conversational fluency and effectively express yourself and your needs. What comes after the 30 hours? If you are enrolled in the Dialects course, we will continue refining your speaking skills and expanding your vocabulary during lessons. Very clear as to what his teaching methods and goals are, how he'll help you get there - then jumps right in and gets you started with no fuss. I found myself speaking sentences in Wolof by the end of the lesson, and really appreciate the additional written material he supplied as well. As someone who has taught and learned various other languages I can tell that Dembane has a really sound methodology. I'll add to this review in a few months time, but so far I am impressed. Also glad that he is pointing out regional differences between Senegal and Gambia usage to me, as it's relevant to my learning needs. He does personalise the content for the individual student, which is good to see.

I had my first class with Dmytro and I really enjoyed it. He takes his classes very seriously (he was very punctual, he had indicated to me in advance the apps/tools needed for the class, he was asking if I have questions, he replied very quickly to my messages before the class...). Also, he was very patient with me (I have a low level in chess...). I liked a lot that he was not just explaining "book" theory of chess, but also the practical tricks. I will book a second class. 100% recommended :)
