I used to be scared of science - now I have a diploma in astronomy. Get in touch for empathetic, patient and enthusiastic science and maths education. Don't know your planets from your galaxies? Tripping up on trigonometry causing you trouble? Struggling to remember what a unit is? If you need somebody patient to help you out of the quicksand, I'm your man. I'm an enthusiastic and understanding science communicator, who has been making science and maths resources for secondary school students for several years. DBS-certified and familiar with the wobbles of special education needs, you can rely on me for patient, step-by-step teaching of the nooks and crannies of physics, chemistry, biology, and maths. I started out as a writing student, who thought that maths and science were the scary vestiges of things I'd never understand. But when I took a student exchange in New York, and began attending astronomy lectures, I learned that it was not only fascinating but exciting too. These days, my writing BSc and my natural sciences diploma equip me with the tools to share these amazing subjects with students young and old - and my journey means I understand what it's like not to understand, and can help you across the finish line. I also have plenty of experience working with SEND and neurodivergent students, so I am more than happy to tailor my lessons around your needs and preferences. You'll also benefit from my: - BA (1st class) in Creative Writing with Media Communications from Bath Spa University - HE Diploma in Natural Sciences (Astronomy and Planetary Science) with the Open University - Work as a creator of secondary school resources - Science communication work with MEL Science and Fun Science Bath - Experience as an assistant SEND teacher Looking forward to hearing from you - don't hesitate to get in touch!

✅ Statistics is a branch of mathematics which aims to collect information, analyze it, process it and interpret the results in order to respond to a very specific problem such as the census of the population of a region including the aim is to respond to development problems. ✅ The course problem situation is as follows: We recorded the time in minutes that each student in a fourth grade class took to solve a geometry problem and we obtained the following results: 8 15 10 11 9 13 14 12 13 15 13 8 14 15 13 8 12 13 14 12 15 15 12 14 10. We would like to know the average time to solve a geometry problem. ✅ The learning activity to capture the attention of learners is as follows: Based on information from the problem situation: 1) Draw up a table of modalities, numbers and frequencies. 2) Calculate the average of this statistical series. 3) Deduce the average time to solve a geometry problem ✅ The lesson summary is based on a series of definitions: 1) The population studied 2) The individual 3) The character studied 4) The modality 5) Number of a modality 6) Total workforce 7) Staffing table and frequency 8) The mode 9) The nature of the character studied 10) The frequency of a modality 11) The formula for calculating frequency. 12) Definition of the mean of a statistical series. 13) The formula for calculating the average of a statistical series. ✅ The end of the course will be marked by a training exercise to be corrected in class and ex exercises to do at home. ✅ The next one will consist of checking the exercises from the previous course to check if the course has been assimilated by the learners.
