Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Javier. I am a guitarist, composer, sound technician, and music producer. I work professionally, especially in contemporary Jazz. During more than 15 years of experience as a teacher, I have developed several methods and exercises for teaching guitar and music (songs, theory, composition, improvisation, harmony, etc.) for students of all levels and all ages. I have already had students from 6 years old to 74. I believe that the most important thing is that the students manage to find the motivation to practice regularly with the pleasure of progressing. Method: The most common is the use of songs that the student chooses and takes advantage of this to work on more general concepts of music and the guitar which are important to acquire a solid base without bad habits. For more advanced students the learning process is determined together by setting personal goals. The teaching method is totally focused on the individual needs of each student. Students with any level of knowledge in music (self-taught, beginners, advanced ...) are accepted. Interview: 01 - Since when did you develop a passion for music and more particularly for your favorite instrument? - I became interested in the guitar at the age of ten. I had a friend who played "Blackbird" music by The Beatles and I was fascinated. From there, I started to study and I continue to learn today. 02 - What music can you listen to on repeat with the same pleasure (and without going crazy)? - Beethoven's Seventh Symphony. 03 - Tell us about the most difficult or amazing lesson you have given! - It would be a class where I have to explain the major and minor tonality and all its variants in one hour of class. But I will get there! 04 - In your opinion, what is the most complicated instrument to master and why? - It was impossible to answer. Each person has different predispositions. For me to play the piano at a high level would be complicated for the need for independence of the right and left hands. In this sense, the guitar is easier. 05 - What are, for you, the keys to success (apart from those of Sol and Fa)? - Constance, it's always better to practice a little every day than a lot once in a while. Patience, learning an instrument takes time. You have to learn to coordinate the body and the brain and take new paths from time to time. And the most important : Don't be afraid of making mistakes, to learn it is essential to make mistakes and this should not be a reason to stop practicing, on the contrary, it should be a motivation to improve. 06 - Name 3 musicians with whom you would dream of jamming in a bar at 2 a.m. and tell us why! - Tigran Hamasyan, Reinier Baas, Avishai Cohen (bassist) 07 - An anecdote to tell in relation to your job or your schooling (and not necessarily the party you had after entering the Conservatory)? - When I started giving lessons (I was 17), I had a 10-year-old student, when I suggested things to do, he looked me directly in the eye and said: No! But with patience, after a while, I managed to make a connection with him and at the end of the 3 years he played the guitar very well and we became friends. Now he is more or less 25 years old. 08 - What is the little touch that makes you a special teacher adored by all his students? - I am very patient and I always find the best way to explain to each student.

Trusted teacher: Myself: I have 23 years of experience playing the saxophone and around 15 years of teaching experience, working with both children and adults, beginners, and more experienced players. I believe that, in addition to teaching, it is essential to remain an active and performing musician to ensure that the approach remains fresh and relevant, which I am. I specialise in jazz improvisation, but these skills are transferable to any style you may wish to learn. The primary goal is to become proficient on the saxophone with a strong and beautiful sound, while also mastering the fundamentals. Furthermore, learning music is a joyous and enriching experience, and I am here to help facilitate that. I am also a graduate of the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam as well as Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (London). The Lessons: Whether you're a total beginner, looking to refresh your skills, or aiming to progress further, I'm here to help you at every step of your saxophone journey. With experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, my main goal is to ensure that every lesson is enjoyable and tailored to your specific goals and motivations. Specialising in improvisation, I also offer instruction in harmony, music theory, and composition. Overall, my goal is to help you produce a beautiful and personal sound on the saxophone. I take pride in adapting my teaching approach to suit your learning style, ensuring that all information is manageable and understandable at your own pace. I am fully committed to ensuring that the space is welcoming and friendly, as well as being approachable for any thoughts or feelings you may have about the lessons and your progress. Lessons are held at my home in Amsterdam Oost and can be scheduled for 45 minutes, 1 hour, or 1.5 hours. Ideally, we meet weekly or fortnightly to maintain momentum, but I'm also available for occasional top-up lessons.

Trusted teacher: Looking for educational, versatile and fun piano lessons? Look no further. My name is Áron and I am a 26-year-old performing artist and educator from Hungary. I have been playing the piano for over 18 years and I have taught students of all ages, from beginners to advanced musicians. What can you expect from your piano classes with me? My main goal, apart from teaching the technique, theory and repertoire, is to show students how much joy music can bring to their life and to let them expand their own musical ideas. You will be able to discover the importance of musicality, artistry, the role of music in our life, the attitude of playing, listening, composing and experimenting with new sounds. STRUCTURE BY LEVEL Beginner* I have got my own techniques of teaching kids (lots of colors, shapes, children songs), as well as adult beginners. What’s most important in this stage is to let the student enjoy the sound of the piano, and be satisfied and motivated after a lesson. Together we will work on a certain repertoire that will help you improve your technique and hearing skills, develop your musical knowledge and creativity. Intermediate* With students of this level, we will work more on perfecting the harmony, technique, and transcription. You will learn how to improvise a more challenging repertoire that requires the practice of both technique and music analysis. Advanced* Depending on your goal, I am going to help you develop a certain part of your piano playing. We are going to dive into details of harmony (jazz harmony), improvisational skills, compositional skills, stage skills and more. *Classes can be tailored to your needs and particular areas of interest if needed. I hope you are excited to explore music together! :) Feel free to reach me at if you have any questions.

Piano lessons for all ages and styles? Look no further! (Amsterdam)
Aron
I am more than happy with the lessons Aron has provided for my children aged 4 and 6, who are absolutely beginners. He is patient, helpful and supportive. He is always well-prepared and tries to make the most out of every session. Aron is an inspiring teacher, who makes learning fun and encourages students, even if it means some exploring on his instrument. He is fun to be around, but above all an excellent pianist with a brilliant technique and a passion for music. Although unfortunately we cannot proceed with the classes, because of relocation, he is highly recommended

Klara
Overall I am very happy to have Klare as a teacher for getting started with the Saxophon. The sessions are always fun and the level is adjusted to my subjective learning progress. I always feel welcome when I have specific questions, need any kind of support related to the Saxophone or bring ideas for songs to practice during the lession.

Stanislav
Stan is real professional jazz musician! He gave me very instructive exercises at the first lesson. I wanted to learn jazz accordion for a long time but I couldn’t do it on my own, now with him I think I am finally on the right track. I will continue lessons with him.
