Hi! My name is Farida. I am an English teacher. I have been working as an English teacher for 3 years. I am TEFL certified (TEFL.org, 120 hour teaching certificate). I hold a degree in Politics & Sociology from the University of Edinburgh. I worked as pupil support staff in primary and secondary schools in the UK, providing additional educational support to students with learning disabilities. I am passionate about education and providing my students with the best quality education I can offer. I can speak Arabic and B2 level Spanish. I have taught students of all different ages and backgrounds, online and in-person, with different reasons and purposes for learning English. From IELTS exams for visa applications to learning a language to adjust living in a new country, I always try to focus on individual goals and needs as much as possible rather than a "one-size-fits-all" approach. For example, if your goal is to simply practice conversational English and become a more confident speaker, then we can focus on that! If your goal is to take an English exam such as the IELTS then that can be our main focus.
