How do I start a photo project?
How do I make a good edit?
How do I make an exhibition?
How do I make a photo book?
How do I prepare/register for a grant?
The best way to learn is by doing.
My method of teaching is based on what the student requires and wants to learn. Together we look at what you want to learn or what you want to experiment in. These can be the technical aspects of photography, the structure of a project, or, for example, the making of a photo book. It is therefore important to tailor the lessons to the student's goal. An interesting perk is that I have a network of photographers and designers who might also come in handy.
Don't have a photo project in mind yet?
Then I have very nice assignments that can inspire you to find your way as a photographer.
About me:
I am a photographer who graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. I also used to teach photography in both the bachelor's and master's programs at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague.
I have extensive experience in curating exhibitions and creating photography projects and exhibitions as you can see from my CV below. Additionally, I am a co-founder of Baobab Magazine, where we collaborate with students to produce a photography magazine. Through this venture, I have gained valuable experience in organizing exhibitions, workshops, and publications.
